Nothing I didn’t like, host was extremely accommodating and understanding with my late arrival and the accommodation was the perfect get away from the busy hustle and bustle that is life.

It wasn’t on top of other houses so there was a bit of privacy to enjoy nature without being by disturbed. Loved how close it was to everything and how many animals came to visit

We had a bit a hard time connecting to the WiFi, but the owner was very quick in his response and help!

Lion Hill @Kruger is a well equipped house in Marloth Park with the advantage of not experiencing load shedding in its full extent. Since the lights are connected to some kind of a generator, we didn’t have to sit in the dark during load shedding, which felt great. Having a washer and dryer in the house also helped us getting everything ready again for our next stop where we wouldn’t have the option to wash our clothes, which was a big plus when traveling with kids.

The place is absolutely stunning. The facilities available in the house made for such a comfortable break away.

Struggled to get the Gas heater to work for hot water. After speacing to the owner, it helped. The main bedromm shower drain was blocked and took long to drain.

Spacious, and clean. Fully equipped kitchen, large bedrooms and pool. Area was quite and peaceful.

No one gave extra toilet paper, and we were not aware that cleaning services were not part of the package. Also, the water from the shower kept going cold, and you had to turn the tap off and then turn on again as the water kept getting ice cold.

Lion Hill was wonderful. It has a pool. Unfortunately, it wasn't warm enough to swim, washing machine , you would need to buy washing powder. Over all the home was very modern.

The water pressure in the shower was a "bad". If not freezing cold water, it was burning hot water. Regulating the water was a challenging!

I will definitely return with my family. It was lovely and we definitely got some rest! The inverter was an amazing bonus during loadshedding, especially with a little girl aged 20 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ant infestation! No dressing table, no cushions for the patio furniture. Some of the kitchen cupboards need attention.

It would be nice, if you can leave the refuse bag for the cleaners on the last day of your departsure. With all our lugage back in the car, the refuse bag was an unpleasant burden.

The kitchen is very well equipt. The attention to detail makes the stay more special. You can see the owner really puts some heart and thought into the place. If there was something like 5star-selfcatering, this would be it 😉

Spacious interior with well equipped kitchen. Gas geysers and an inverter/battery back-up system which made an enormous difference during power outages.

We missed a washing line for towels and swim stuff, but the outside chairs worked well too.

The house is well equiped with everything you could need, including washing machine and tumble dryer. The setting is beautiful amongst the trees and a variety of wild animals visited daily. The beds are comfy and the owner is a great communicator. The pool is fabulous too. We'd love to visit again

The house was lovely and had everything we needed. It was quiet and gave us time to relax and rest. Barend was fantastic with regard to letting us know of a better route to travel and sorting out any questions we had. The pictures represent the house beautifully and we would definitely visit again!

What a beautiful place! When we arrived the property was clean and ready for us to unpack and just relax. Everything we needed was catered for.
