Our group is mostly vegetarian and we also had 2 children in our group (aged 5 and 8). The meal options are limited and may not cater to international tastes and preferences. An area of improvement can be having a kiddie friendly menu, although we did receive custom made veggie meals. Also having a small play area for kids aged 10 and below keeps them fairly engaged and carving out a small place with a small tree house / jungle gym with swings/ slides can be very helpful for young families. Game drive guides (of Little Africa) can be better compared to guides from other lodges in the area.

Little Africa is a lovely lodge which is efficiently run by Leandra. Little Africa is perfect for experienced travellers, older travellers. Super comfortable tents with an unparalleled environment. Had my best sleep ever! My father had his 72nd birthday and the chef baked a special chocolate cake for the ocassion. The entire staff brought it out ceremoniously and made the ocassion very special.

Dinners by the fireplace when it was really hot. Food Waste (at breakfast in particular) Perhaps allow guests to order breakfasts in advance. The owner Leandra is friendly and helpful but we did feel a bit awkward around her. Could just be our personalities not matching. I did feel it was a bit strange that when paying the bill there was an option to tip the owner( and it included a guide on how much to tip her, the chef and the wait staff). It did not include a recommendation on how much to tip the guide and tracker. We did tip everyone as they all deserved it.

Game drives, Never and Mateo's excellent knowledge and personalities. They truly provided a once in a lifetime experience for us, getting close to animals and doing their best to take on any requests. Their local perspective, knowledge and stories added a unique twist compared to other game drives we've done. Never was the outgoing friendly Energetic personality while Mateo added a sense of safety in the bush. As mentioned they both have outstanding knowledge. Never's game drives are like a fun learning experience while driving through the African bush. Mateo has many years of experience in tracking and we enjoyed his in depth knowledge. Could you add a game room for the time we spent at the hotel, although the pool and the bar were quite nice as well. Is using a drone during the game drive a viable option for searching for animals with technology?

Impeccable service; very good food; comfortable bed; cleanliness always top-notch (clean and tidy rooms); all staff very kind, polite, and well-prepared; the safari (game drive) was spectacular (we saw all the big five). The experience was incredible and will be forever cherished.

food was excellent, property was great, tents were nice, game drives were absolutely fantastic in a large private animal reserve. Thanks to our fantastic and knowledgeable tracker and guides Mateo and Never and our tough topless safari car we were able to get incredibly close to all animals including the big five by driving on small dirt roads at all times. No need for telephoto lenses - we just used our iPhones and only used our binoculars a couple of times.

Our stay at Little Africa was just perfect: Leandra the host was very welcoming and we could feel at home right from the beginning. The whole experience provided by the Little Africa Team could not have been better: - Food and service were excellent during our whole stay - Sleeping in a tented camp made us even more connect with the surroundings as you could here animals nereby during the night - The game drives provided were perfect. Our two guides Mateo and Never are very experienced in tracing the animals but also have a lot of knowledge about the flora and founa. We did overall 8 game drives together with them and the covered all the big five and listened to our requests. For example I asked if hippos live in the reserve and the coffe spot at the next morning was at a pond with hippos :) - The Moditlo private game reserve felt like the perfect mix of having enough animals around but also giving them enough space. Overall I would fully recommend a stay at Little Africa and if I get the chance I would also come back.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time at Little Africa! Leandra is such a wonderful host - we were well taken care of the entire time. The lodge is stunning - it is a luxurious experience that still makes you feel connected to the beautiful land and animals in the reserve. The tented rooms were awesome! The shower was so cool - everything in the room was of great quality. We felt so cozy and relaxed. The food was so good - every meal felt like a cozy home cooked meal. They even set up a lovely table for us for dinner to celebrate our honeymoon. The drives were so so so awesome! Never and Mateo were our guides and we had so much fun with them. We saw EVERYTHING. They are so well educated on the bush - we learned so much from them about the animals, plants, and climate. It was such an amazing experience. I highly recommend Little Africa to everyone!

The place is super fine, in an amazing location. The room are clean, big and very comfortable. The pool and the eating area it was just amazing and exceeded my expectations. The hotel team was above and beyond for any request that we had. The game drives driver and spotter (Never and Mateo) were really professional and made sure that we will see all animals including the big fives

We were looking for a "small...intimate...&private " game lodge. We found that and much MORE at Little Africa. We wanted to expérience tented accomodation, we found "Glamour Tent unique Experience". Large spacious and full facilities. In 2 days we saw 4/5 the BiG 5, we must return to see the 5th one : The Léopard. Thanks to big 5 Team of Little Africa, Leandra our Host , our guides Denis and Mateo, and Vonnie and Mounya !!!! Keep it up!

The wifi connection in my room was not working. My room number was number 5. There are 7 rooms in total. Wifi works fine in the lobby. The room closest to the lobby is number 1. If you expect wifi in your room, ask for room 1 or 2.

The biggest purpose of staying at this hotel was the game safari. The game safari experience was amazing. I met several cheetahs and leopards, which are said to be difficult to see. I was able to meet other animals at such a distance that I could actually feel their breathing. Respect and gratitude to the team of drivers and navigators for their professional work in guiding us on our game safari.

Leandra is an amazing host. The facilities are just what we wanted. It's a small camp and very personal experience. Leandra and Alvesion were incredibly accommodating with the menu preparing delicious and abundant selections. Our guide and tracker team of Jika and Gaswell were amazing - knowledgeable and friendly and they worked very well together

The loadshedding meant that we were without Power for lodged by periods of time. Perhaps, a Genset is a necessity. After all, only 7 Tents in total.

Leandra and her team went the full distance to ensure that we had a wonderful time (2 nights stay)! Great Game drives thanks to Jika & Case, excellent Food & Wine (Chef Alvesion, thankyou!) and luxurious Tented accomodation! Highly recommended!

We spent 2 nights here and loved every second. The lodge is pristine and finished to perfection. So many beautiful details in the decor and the outdoor area. The staff were welcoming and super attentive, we never had to ask for a drink refill. The food was AMAZING, three course meals with some choices. But of course, the highlight was the twice daily drives, guides were super friendly and we saw 4 of the big 5. Tea and coffee and snacks and drinks served during the drive. The fine detail of our stay was incredible. This newly opened lodge is a gem and we feel lucky to have experienced it.

The Host is very kind and takes care about her customers from the first second you arrive. Located in a pictures scenery, privateness guarantued, due to size of the camp in a Nature Reserve. We have seen all big five, thanks to Leandra and her amazing team. We will come back!!!
