Upon arrival, you are greeted by the warmest welcome from Kathy. The room is spacious, well maintained, homey and comfortable. What made it even more special was how Kathy dealt with an unpredictable event. Unfortunately, on our second day there, the water pump at the property stopped working. Due to the circumstances we were in (public holiday weekend and later in the day), fixing it wasnt easily possible. Without hesitation or trouble or issues, Kathy went out of her way to find alternative accommodation for us at no extra cost / charge. The gesture was greatly appreciated even though it was no fault of hers. And because of this, we know how much Kathy cares about her guests and ensures her guests are comfortable and well looked after. Back to the property, it is nicely located in the middle of the town, and we would recommend Loggers Loft and would definitely be back! Thanks for having us Kathy!

The wifi was good when it was working but it cut out a lot.

Everything was perfect!

This was such a lovely, tranquil place. Being a loft that's on the 1st floor, you have an elevated view and feel like you are staying up in a tree house. The property is lush and green, is surrounded by big leafy trees, and has a nice small garden. One of the best features is the large deck outside, which has a wood braai and a dining table - we ended up eating all of our dinners out here as it was such a peaceful setting. And Kathy, the host, was very kind; we found the grill cleaned and a fresh stack of firewood upon returning to this rental every afternoon, which was a nice touch. The unit itself is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Kathy did mention the water doesn't work during loadshedding since they have an electric pump, but we were never present to experience that ourselves. The location is also great - very quiet, but close to Stormrivier's small main street, and about a 10 minute drive to Tsitsikamma National Park's Storms River entrance.

Nothing it was a great choice suited us perfectly

The loft was very comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect in the village. The bed was comfortable and warm, the shower was great. Currently in load shedding there is no power but they are putting in solar power. However as we knew when it was we could work around it and the cafes were open. It was a 2min walk to the best cafe in town Tsitrus. And then 2minswalk from any activity to book and general store. Kathy was very helpful.

Loggers loft has got everything you need. The host is so welcoming and you can see she has put loads of attention to every detail within the loft. I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling around the area. Excellent!

Excellent apartment with wooden furniture and floor, located in wonderful garden with old trees. Big terrace overlooking the garden. Very quiet and secure. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Ideal for 2 person, very friendly host, best accommodation on our South Africa trip.

The loft is simply gorgeous. It has everything you need and even more. It is spacious, well decorated, well thought to the smallest detail. And the best part: sooooo clean! The bed was super comfortable, linen and pillows also were spot on. Although breakfast is not included, don’t worry… just a block away there is a great place to eat breakfast (even lunch and dinner) called “Tsitrus Café”. They also sell beautiful South African souvenirs that supports local communities.

Nothing that we didn't like about Kathy's place. We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay.

The location was great as it's a very short walk to town where all the restaurants and activity centers are. The property itself is lovely, there's plenty of big trees and a stunning buffalo grass lawn that you look out on. The AC was great in the summer heat, and the space itself was very comfortable to stay in with all the amenities you need. Kathy was very communicative, which made us feel comfortable reaching out to her whenever we needed. Plenty of useful information about activities and restaurants are provided. You have privacy too but owners are always there to help if you need it. Some place you really feel as if the owners care about the quality of the guests stay - and this was one of them! The number plate of our car came loose and Kathy's husband very kindly took repaired it for us at no cost which was very appreciated. Overall a wonderful stay, it was the highlight of our trip!

Nowt - Yorkshire for NOTHING

As the gates slid open and we were welcomed by the charming host we knew we’d arrived at our own little Garden of Eden. Up some substantial wooden stairs onto our private decking area (make sure you can lift a bag easily) we entered Loggers Loft. A roof space, cleverly designed doesn’t as a description do justice. The kitchen area complete with “slide in” induction hob was natty. Above, all the mod-cons in a kitchenette you could want. The central massive bed, and in alcoves a desk, a mirror and other clever use of eve space ensured that you didn’t feel at any time closed in. At the end of the room a large frosted glass, floor to ceiling divider shielded the prying eye from a beautiful bathroom with big standalone bath, two wash basins and a rain shower that did just that despite problems with power shedding and associated issues with water pumps. Loggers Loft a real find for us. A bargain of a price and right up their in terms of standards of any Guest House with options for breakfast either by eating in or popping down the road to the diner or the Inn. As the children from the local Montesori Nursery played in the garden as we left, we were sad to leave this wonderful piece of two night heaven. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment perfect for a short break. Every need catered for, even a schedule of load shedding! Jess met us at the property and gave us useful local information and gave us the confidence to use the braai for our first night's dinner! Kathy went above and beyond when she sorted out the return of the wristwatch that we had accidentally left behind!

A short walk to town and pub. Loft was wonderful, beautiful outside area in peaceful seclusion. Everything you would require was provided for you. The cherry on the top was the bath, pure bliss.
