Whimsical decor, warm and welcoming hosts, and above all, incredible breakfasts - home made yoghurt, the best fluffiest omelette ever, my first Dutch baby, the TLC that goes into every tiny detail, down to fresh hazelnuts with the granola and crispiest yet fluffy and perfectly salted fries to go with your eggs. Hotel Lola is very well located and the breakfast, tea and cookies were exceptional. Also had the chance to talk with the hosts and learn a lot about Cape Town. It was a true high point in my trip, which overall was very good.

I loved everything about Hotel Lola ! It's the perfect balance between privacy and feeling in a family home. I stayed in the pink room, and the bed was so comfy only the delicious breakfast could take me out of it. Definitely recommend staying at Hotel Lola and would be back ! Thank you the lovely stay !

Very good price point and still very close to VA waterfront, 2min drive or a few minutes walk. Russel was very attentive and responsive on booking.com messenger! The breakfast was really great, 2nd time in my life that I had an Omelette like this, just awesome. The arrival snacks and wine was a nice touch, thank you. The room and facilities are more than enough and still very private, interesting and unique decor, much attention to detail!

Lola is filled with so much personality and character. It feels like I’ve stepped into someone’s home. Well it is in a way, a home away from home. The property is only 4 months old but already feels so comfortable and lived in. Russell and Alan were incredible hosts, hospitality at its finest . The breakfast was glorious: granola, fruit, yogurt and juices to start, and a surprise main everyday - be sure to try their homemade chutneys! I’ve stayed here a total of 2.5 nights (on separate occasions) and I will definitely be back again.

Just amazing hosts- thoughtful and beyond helpful. The food was exquisite, the rooms immaculately clean, the hotel quirky and unique. We borrowed the hotel driver and Lino took us to Cape Point, Langa the black township, Bo Kaap, penguin beach, botanical gardens and multiple other places of interest. The hotel rooms are furnished with refurbished antiques which makes the rooms unique but also excludes a tv (thankfully!) and offers a bath instead of a shower which really allows you to slow down. Really excellent experience.

We were lucky enough to get the off street parking but the area is a bit of a safety concern late at night so off street parking or the nearby parking arcade is recommended. WE only had a bath in our room which was a bit of a constraint as it uses quite a bit of water and even though we had a shallow bath the water was not particularly warm. Otherwise bedroom and other general amenities were great. We will be back.

Great hosts and very hospitable. Fantastic Breakfast - definitively worthwhile.. Would have stated another night if we had the time.

I had an incredible experience staying at Hotel Lola, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Russel and Adam, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. Lino was another standout member of the staff, always going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast at Hotel Lola was a highlight of my stay, with a delicious and elaborately prepared spread of options each morning. I was impressed with the attention to detail. The hotel's decoration was absolutely lovely, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. It was evident that the owners had put a lot of thought and care into every aspect of the hotel's design. Worth to mention the good taste for music too. Overall, I had an unforgettable four days at Hotel Lola with my wife and friends, and I cannot wait to return. The exceptional service, delicious food, and beautiful decor make this hotel a true gem.

Room could have done with a mirror in a better place. We had 2 mirrors however due to the room being quite dark and the placement of the mirrors, it made getting ready difficult

The hosts were extremely accommodating and very kind. They served an aperitivo when I arrived that was very enjoyable and the breakfast was also great.

If I had to nitpick, the fan switch was slightly confusing, but nothing that detracted from my time at location.
