The best place I have ever stayed !! Lush should be the top of everyone's go-to list! The rooms were absolutely beautiful, huge and the epitome of luxury. Rooms were cleaned, beds made etc every time you left the room - there was even a turn down service in the evening with dressing gowns, slippers and camomile tea laid out for a relaxing bedtime treat. The staff were wonderfully friendly, knew us by name and nothing was too much trouble. The experience felt so personal and honestly felt like home. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Dinner was served in different locations each evening, the first being in the wine cellar which was stunning. Our game drives were AMAZING - especially our driver Hannes!! The experience was so personal, it was 'what would you like to do?' 'where would you like to go?' rather than being dictated to with strict timings etc like on other activity trips I've been on. We managed to see the Big 5 and I really couldn't have asked for a better experience.

There are no end to luxury spots to sit, enjoy a drink and be treated like royalty by the outstanding staff. The rooms were exceptionally well laid out with great facilities Every member of staff would welcome you and talk to you as you passed them, ask about your day and make sure that you had everything you needed to be thoroughly relaxed. Avi our game driver was exceptional, her energy and enthusiasm for her job was infectious and she would do her best to ensure you saw something different at least once a drive, while also explaining thing to you and answering any questions you’d have.

Everything’s gorgeous, amazing, wonderful… it was such an amazing experience to stay in lodge. I am very upset to stay a 1 night. All the members were friendly. They made us feel like we stay at home. All the meals are exceptionally delicious. It was well selected menus and we enjoyed experience it a lot. Safari experience was something else. Our ranger is knowledgeable and experienced. Would definitely recommend stay in lush lodge.

I cannot pick a single fault.

Lush Private Game Lodge is simply stunning, the location, facilities and interior design are flawless. The staff are incredibly welcoming, polite and friendly, always putting guests first. You really do feel special. The game rides out are brilliant and the rangers are great, so knowledgeable and make the whole experience worth while. I would highly recommend this venue for people looking for that luxury experience for a safari break.

Lush is Lush. Amazing rooms with quality fixings and furnishings, hot water bottles at bedtime. Friendly staff who take the time to learn your name immediately on arrival. Wonderful food with several amazing eating venues. Catering for our individual food requirements, nothing too much trouble. Excellent Safari experience, hot water bottles and blankets for the morning drives and great morning/sundowner stops - Amarula in coffee/hot chocolate with super snacks is a must. Just didn't get to use the gym or spa.

Everything is amazing!!!

The service was unbelievable from the moment we arrived until we had left. The staff are so friendly and really give you a personal experience. We had an in room spa treatment on arrival which was quite a treat. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and so tranquil. Perfect luxurious little getaway!

The lodge is absolutely stunning. The staff were so welcoming. they truly made sure we had an absolutely amazing time. the purpose of our trip was a 5 year anniversary and the staff made sure it was as special as can be. the rooms are extremely clean and neat. The food was great. the game drives were informative and the vehicle was the most comfy we have had at a lodge.

We would like to comfy couch in the room to relax. There is more than enough seating space - but are all single chairs. Maybe a swop with a couch will be a nice addition.

Lush makes every guest feel very special. Everybody makes sure that you have everything and is happy. Dinners are a special occasion. The room is beautiful with high quality furnishings. Love Africology product in the rooms.

Lush lodge had a wide selection of food available. If anything wasn't to our taste, they were able to accommodate our needs. Game drives were incredible and the staff were very professional and helpful. I really appreciated the small details such as the hot towel and drink every time we arrived at the lodge. These small details made the biggest difference.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property itself other than the lack of wifi and tv in the rooms for when you’re not on Safari. The food however was a huge disappointment. From small lunch portions to badly cooked, bland food. When you pay extra and it’s 5 star you expect five star dining, which this was not.

The property itself was amazing and the staff were great especially the Safari Guides

Bath leaked, better wines should have been included, outdoor showers but a gentleman walked past our deck area (privacy?) and a few other issues. For the price one can experience 5 star, Lush is 4 star at a push.
