Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We loved our stay there. The place is beautiful and clean. People are doing their own things not bothering anyone. It was peaceful and quiet. I would definitely go back there without a doubt. I loved this place.

South AfricaThe bed is a bit uneven and uncomfortable so didn’t get great sleep. I didn’t mind for this trip that visitors weren’t allowed because I literally just needed a bed to sleep at night and wouldn’t spend much time there otherwise, but it would be nice to be able to invite a friend or 2 when I’m town and have this as my base. Knowing I can’t do this would affect the occasions I may choose to stay here. Also, the shower floods, maybe check that out with maintenance.
Really great location, easy access to the airport and Unhlanga, but also not too busy. Not going to get stuck in traffic too close to home. Place feels nice, new, well maintained, secure with good facilities. The views are phenomenal!

South AfricaThe place had cockroaches and when i brought it up the operations manager said unfortunately theres nothing they can do since its their season. For a self catering unit, hygiene must be top priority. The bed was uncomfortable. We go on vacation to relax and an uncomfortable bed ruins the whole experience. Wish I had read reviews before I booked
