We did not rate the place as a 10 because there are things to consider before coming: 1. Only 1 out of the 3 bedrooms have aircondition so in hot days it's not comfortable (although they do have a ceiling fan). 2. The place is not wheelchair/handicapped accessible as there are 2 flights of stairs going down to the aprt. 3. No pool in the complex. 4. The place needs "fine tuning" as there are things that are broken/old - stains on the sofa, broken chairs/bench in the terrace, toiletries and such.

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. The location is amazing. Right on the beautiful beach with easy access to it. Views from the terrace are amazing. We could have lived there forever... The apt. is very spacious, 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets/showers. All things in the apartment are very modern, especially the kitchen which is literally luxurious. Owner/compamy very communicative. Great value for money in Ballito for people who are looking for a relaxed beach vacation.

The apartment and location were amazing, but our mobile network was weak, so the phone call quality was poor . It didn't matter because the wifi compensated through WA calling.

The property has direct access to the beach. Views are spectacular. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are smart tvs in the lounge and all bedrooms. Good wifi signal. Thoughtful touches like hand soap in the bathrooms.

The code on the front door did not work which caused some frustration after a long journey. The sliding doors to the veranda need some maintenance as they are difficult to open. The check in and check out times are awkward. The letting agent can use some more finesse when dealing with clients.

The decor in the unit is superb. Very comfortable furniture and bedding. A visually stunning apartment on the beach. Beautiful veranda with views of the ocean. Wonderful setting.

We had an issue with the aircon in the lounge but it was sorted out after we complained.

We had problems accessing the remote from the lock box and had to contact the owner and wait for someone to come and assist. There are a number of things in the apartment that need maintenance, leaking shower door, loose towel rails etc. Only 2 wine glasses for 6 people.

The location is superb and the facilities good. Lovely view from the verandah and nice comfortable lounge furniture.

The kitchen could do with some extra glassware and utensils. The additional online paperwork required is a schlepp.

This property exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do it justice - it is much larger than it appears on the web and the decor is top notch. Situated right on the beach with easy access through a pedestrian gate, this place cannot be faulted.

1. The checkout time of 9am is unpractical. (The norm for hotels, lodges and Bnb's is 10am. So we would highly appreciate if this facility can also align to international and national checkout times). 2. The pillows in all bedrooms were too hard. (Please ensure you get softer pillows).

Signal issues . WiFi gave us a little problem but was sorted out. I found it strange that there were no full length mirrors in bedroom by the dresser or plug point for using the hair dryer especially . The mirrors in the one bedroom was too high to be able to see properly . The check out time of 9 am and check in of 3 pm . At least 10 am and 2 pm would have made a huge difference. Towel changes each day would have been good as shower twice a day and the next day towels were still damp.

The location , the exquisite decor , comfort . Every thing you could possibly need was available at the apartment . The host was on hand to assist with any problems .

Not necessarily about the property, the hosts.. there was no one waiting for us on arrival nor even a check up during our stay also it was a bit hassle checking in whew! And there’s no mobile signal in the area but at least we had a wifi!

I recommend that the agents provide more than one remote control for the access gate to the complex. It was unfortunate that we had a lot of noise from apartment 7’s renovations. The electronic key pad worked well when we arrived, but a couple of times we had to enter the code up to 5 times before the door unlocked.

Spectacular views and a 1 minute walk and you’re on the beach. The apartment is newly renovated and spotless, it has everything you need. We saw dolphins from the patio. Lovely balcony area with a big table and chairs, as well as a day bed with a canopy. Great to be in an area that is not affected by load shedding. The WiFi is reality good. Comfy beds and couches. Beautiful kitchen with all that you need. Lots of TV’s with lots of viewing options. We loved our stay and will be back.

No coffee, sugar etc. Pillows were so hard so even though the place was amazing and the bed was so comfy, I was unable to sleep through. So bring your own coffee, sugar and creamer as well as pillows and it will be beyobd perfect!

The apartment was absolutely beautiful. The pictures matched what we got when we arrived. The view was amazing, it was spacious. Its really picture perfect. Its very clean and the decor is just awesome. The bed is super comfy.
