Nothing - everything was great 👍🏻

Lovely location, we had an amazing view of the night's sky! The hot tub and braai were brilliant. Lydia and her family are great hosts, we'd definitely return :)

An idyllic country stay with magnificent views

No wifi signal made us feel more isolated.

An idyllic little cottage out in the countryside. Well equipped and cosy .... when load shedding was over. It looks small from the outside but had all we needed. As it was a cold wet winter we could not make use of the braai and outdoor furniture. Plenty of hot water and good linens, Exquisite countryside & flowers. Cederburg mountainous roads had been baldly damaged in the winter rains. The pot hole/ford/ bridge was under water. Delightful owner popped by to check that all was ok. We were fine but it could feel a little too isolated for some. A super stay! Thank you!!

The one downlight in the bathroom was not working.

The accommodation was comfortable and was well equipped. The location of the cottage on the farm was beautiful. The fireplace inside the cottage was a delight as it was cold and wet when we were there.

Internet is not available, which makes organization of trips challenging if one is stranger to the area.

The sporty setting including the campground, nightly sky without light pollution, hiking trail next to the cabin.

Given we stayed for nearly a week, it would have been useful to have had a day when the unit was cleaned out and the bedding changed

It is isolated and quiet, and you are able to go walking all over the farm. It is save enough for the kids to run around and experience nature. Their hikes are well marked and easy to navigate. The wood-fired hot tub was a treat and we went through so many crates of wood enjoying this luxury, lying in the tub and enjoying a massive night sky, in the dark with all the lights of the cottage switched off.

You have all the great amenities, hot tub, fireplace and aircon and we felt it fell very short with the bedding. Small investment could go along way with the guests to make them feel comfortable at night, we thought the bedding needed an upgrade. Having newer light coloured bedding, a proper duvet and new pillows would have rounded off our experience at the cottage and made us feel valued. We felt the wood was overpriced for the amount and quality of wood you got in each crate, as your amenities are wood fueled it would have felt nice as a guest to receive a complimentary crate or two on arrival.

Beautiful setting with natural surrounds and the Cedarberg a short drive away. We loved you could go walking on the farm. The Hot tub was awesome in the cold weather. The fireplace kept the cottage nice and warm.

It would have been fun if here was a cosy chair or to to sit in and read. But it was still lovely and I understand space constraints.

Lovely nature all around and well marked out hiking trails.

Not a lot of information on the activities of the area. Basically no reception so difficult to look up activities so be sure to have a bit of a plan before you settle in at the property.

Peaceful and remote location. Simple, but comfortable and well equipped. Everything was very clean. Set up to be a self check in and out which is convenient.

I so loved this location. The cottage has everything you need for wonderful outdoor/indoor living. A great plus - the flowers were just outside our door and so many amazing walks nearby. We cooked outdoors the whole time we were there. Next time we will bring our family and they can use the campsite.

It was cold, and the bunk beds didnt have proper duvet inners, so had to ask for extra blankets. Because its so tiny, the dining table is right near the bathroom, so not ideal to eat next to the toilet. Best to enjoy outside. But it was raining while we were there so had to stay indoors.

Its on a farm near the stream. So close to nature. Fresh spring water running from the tap. Tiny chalet, well equipped. Nice fireplace

Cottage was very small and quite exposed with farm traffic a bit of a disturbance. The noise from the camping below us was annoying .Also a pity we had no contact with the owner .No wifi

This cottageis very small but reasonably equipped. We enjoyed the splash pool and explored the area on the property. The braai was well located .Good fridge and freezer. We will try to return preferably not when private camp is occupied
