The rooms are starting to look tired and in need of some TLC & maintenance.

The location is beautiful, and the staff were lovely. Bella was a joy. The property must have been absolutely beautiful in its original days, but we had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Michel met us on arrival. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room and taken on a tour around the premises. We had booked the weekend as we were attending a wedding so sadly did not make use of their catering facilities. They were on offer though. The Guest House is on a beautiful wine farm with stunning views. We had a most comfortable stay. It is within easy reach of Somerset West and Stellenbosch. There are many restaurants in close proximity to the Guest House.

Shower head was a bit broken. They ran out of firelighters. The breakfast selection and croissants/muffins could be better.

The location is a bit remote especially if you plan on going out at night.

Beautiful, large bedrooms with spacious bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Beds are comfortable and the service was great.

We spend five nights here and it felt like coming home. The warmth and care of Michel and all staff made the entire experience incredible. The property is beautiful with amazing views. Breakfast is great, as are the wines. Rooms are beautiful. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Onky foriegn beer available in the bar! SA has worldclass beers, plus there are numerous excellent local craft breweries, so this was strange..

Lovely, friendly staff, good prior comms on any special requests eg breakfast, and excellent value for money given the spacious room with desk/working area, good wifi etc

The setting, rooms and country house were exceptional. Moreover the staff made us feel so at home and were very accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend Lyngrove and will definately be back to visit soon.

Beautiful peaceful setting surrounded by vineyards and mountains. Fabulous selection of their own wines available, lovely breakfast, friendly staff and an idyllic spot outside on the patio to eat breakfast in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets.

Everything was good.

The house and rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The Aircon is excellent. The breakfast was wonderful.
