It is a pity that it is on the main street but the closed shutters and heavy curtains did help towards making the street noise less noticeable.

We unfortunately did not have the breakfast. Minette was a charming host who made our stay in Paarl an exceptional experience as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. She advised us about what to do, which wine estate we may enjoy visiting and where to eat. There were garden furniture under a tree or seating on the 'stoep' for us to enjoy the lovely evenings.

The noise from the main road can get a bit load, but is quiet late at night so can get some sleep. Breakfast was cold food only as was put into your fridge the night before in your room. Was OK but not what we expected.

The room looks like it did on line. Our host gave us some great recommendations of local places to visit and eat. Loved siting on the veranda watching the world go by

I was in Paarl for School sport and Madeliefie is right next to the school, it was very convenient to come and go. he accommodation is lovely, well set out and has everything that you need.

The property is quaint, very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The location was great as we were attending a wedding at Bakenhof Wedding Venue. The host is extremely friendly and helpful and immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. She makes the most amazing rusks!! Breakfast was simple but had delicious muesli and yogurt and a bread roll and cheese! Thanks for an awesome stay.

We were disappointed that we booked two rooms as the main room we booked had a queen bed and also had a single bed with an extra pull out mattress which meant all 3 of us girls could share the room, which we did. It would have been helpful if we knew about this information before booking an additional room so that we could have saved costs. I forgot to let the owner know that the hairdryer plug didn't fit in any of the plugs provided - it needed a special adaptor which was not provided.

The bedrooms were tastefully decorated. We loved the small touches i.e. rusks for coffee and tea and the breakfast provided in the fridge for the morning (croissant with ham and cheese, yogurt and muesli, and fruit juice).

Honestly there was nothing, we loved everything. Id only say to people with big cars that the parking area is a bit tight but can still get in and out, Minette is also there to help if needed.

Minette was an exceptional host as soon as we arrived, we were greeted with so much warmth and kindness. The rooms were incredibly spacious and equipped with every home comfort, the beds were so comfy we slept through the entire night and woke well rested. we had the two rooms at the front which also included a beautiful stoop with lots of comfy seating to relax and a dinning table that we could enjoy our breakfast at. the breakfast is delivered the night before and put in the fridge supplied in the rooms. the breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, muesli, yoghurt, home made rusks and a baked good. we also had juice, tea and coffee. it was wonderful waking up and having breakfast in our own time and leisure. On arrival Minette also told us about the area and local spots for us to visit aswell as places to eat. she also offered to book a reservation at any restraunt we wanted aswell as offer drop off and pick up if we wanted to drink. she is an incredibly sweet hostess and we felt very at home. we also loved Molly the resident dog who always welcomed us in the morning and when we came back from any travels and was always eager for a cuddle and play time. In all we loved every moment and will be sure to come again!

The warmest, friendliest and most hospitable of hosts we’ve ever met (and we met many lovely hosts along the way on our trip). Rooms are spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. Beds very comfortable. Their homemade rusks are delicious.

Minette was a superb host and went out of her way to to us feel welcome. She helped us with printing documents, supplied my husband with a razor and accommodated out late check in and early check out.
