the unit needs a light on the stairs. It is a dark area and could be dangerous.

Sitting out side our accommodation and having breakfast and watching the ducks and other bird life on the pond.

Exit on main road bit difficult as do not have clear view of oncoming traffic. Room had burnt wood smell but the fireplace in the room will be a bonus on a really cold night. Noisy bathroom extractor fan

Didn't have breakfast as left early both mornings. Easy to find. Close to town. Lovely view towards the mountains. Friendly helpful staff

Surrounded by nature, fireplace in bedroom and comfortable all round. Sitting on the stoep in the setting sun on a winter’s evening with local wine unwinds those built up tensions in your shoulders.

Manley Wine Estate exceed our expectations. From when we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly smile and everything was handed over in a sanitised package. We stayed in one of the adjoining cottages right next to the dam. The scenery is absolutely breathe - taking with the mountains and vineyards surrounding us. It was so peaceful and tranquil, and a very relaxing environment. Everything is provided in your rooms, even down to baskets of fire wood and fire lighters. We spent the evening next to a crackling fire. It was pure bliss and I will definitely return again 😊

No janitor or supervisor stayed on site. Each house is split in two units, thus having neighbors next door. Although the briefing notes said no excessive/loud music, we unfortunately had neighbors whom played loud music (at Lapa area) till 03H45 that next morning. Really ruined the quiteness and peacefulness we experienced when they went into town earlier that evening.

Very beautiful area. Beautiful views - Dam & Mountains. Heard quite a lot of different bird species. Enjoyed the fireplace. Large main bedroom. Large Lapa for outdoor braai with swimming pool (ideal for Summer times).

This unit (no 2) suffered a serious lack of maintenance. Many things in the apartment was either broken, half broken or did not work. Blind in kitchen was broken; Dustbin in kitchen was broken; Front door did not close properly; Bedside lamp was not working; Coffee plunger was broken; Floor tiles throughout was loose and dangerous; taps were loose and stiff etc...

Beautiful wine farm, close to town and other wine farms. The food was fab, breakfast was tasty & well presented with plenty of options. The dinner we had was also top class. The rooms were spacious, clean and to not suffer from Load shedding was an added bonus.

The Restaurant was supposed to open at 9 Am the staff only arrived 9:15 to open the restaurant. Then they started setting up the tables. We left 9:20 when we realised that we won’t be ordering coffee before 9:30 Am. We had to get breakfast on our way back home after paying for bed and breakfast. I find this unexepytable !

There was NOTHING to not like!

What an incredible stay, the estate, facilities and food was amazing but what really made it home away from home was the super professional, warm and kind staff. We loved their relaxed and inviting approach so often lacking in many establishments of this kind, we felt part of the 'Manley Wine Estate' family from the moment we arrived!.
