Very friendly and service minded staff, clean rooms and facilities. The view over the town is magnificent, I suspect Thabazimbi being more of a business destination, hence us more or less having the hotel to ourselves. Highly recommended.

The shower floor a little slippery , deep cleaning maybe to remove shop and shampoo residues. Was afraid to trip and fall.

There is not proper access control, we wwiting too long outsite the gate without help. We were put at risk of being hijacked while waiting outsite the gate. There is not proper direction signs and the lodge does not respond to its listed contact numbers. It took us more than 30 minutes calling the numbers of the lodge without any help.

The rooms are clean, good linen and the broad facilitiea are great. This is a good lodge, it just needs improvement in security, access control and reception services quality.

There is a pool and braai area on the website. Sadly after booking for this reason, we got there to find that the pool was not there anymore and no braai facility was available- the price you pay to stay there you at least expect what is advertised. It was a huge disappointment as it is extremely hot in Thabazimbi and there was no pool to use.

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

The garden around the lodge is bushy and full of old building rubble and litter. It's not well maintained and poses a security risk. I noticed one of the building contractors took a short cut through the bush to the bottom of the garden towards the main road. So there must be a breach in security fence. The generator is very load and woke me up during the night. I couldn't go back to sleep. Management should consider moving it away from the rooms or building a small structure around it to contain the noise

That you advertised a pool and you didn't have one, constant loud works on the ground digging, maids and staff just letting themselves into my room whilst I'm either asleep or I've told them I don't need them. Not keeping the generator on when it's loadshedding so I was in a room with no air conditioning, and no shower as the water would just go off whilst I'm still in it. As much as the presentation was nice, not all chefs cooked what you wanted they just assumed or just put what they want on the plate in front of you. Very disappointed as whole with my experience there.

The views were absolutely beautiful, watching the sunrise, sunset and even thunder and lightning storms.

No ambiance or welcoming feel to the venue. The rooms are so close together that the incoming guests after 22:00 was noisy and their midnight music was disturbing. Guests who left at 3:30am in the morning walked up and down past our room more than 10 times which kept us awake until 5:30 when we had to get up. It was not worth sleeping over with all the noise and inconsiderate guests.

The room was clean with absolute basics, No teaspoons in room. Very average.
