The Guest house is a beautiful place with views across vineyards and mountains. The sunrise is incredible. Guest privacy was very respected here and we could rest well. It's a stunning house and very secure with the latest technology. The Marras restaurant makes great pizza and pasta. The location is 5mins down the road from Riebeek Kasteel and a beautiful drive there and back.

Only a longer stay could have made it better

The breakfast was superb. It was a little out of the ordinary with lovely locally grown fruit. Excellent coffee and wonderfully cooked bacon and eggs. Peaceful and very tidy gardens. Hospitality couldnt have been better especially as we were invited to join Vincents birthday celebrations which made for a very happy afternoon.

The shower door in our en suite needs repairs to its hinges and seal. That's it!

The breakfast was a highlight. Vincent is a chef! The views over the valley and the quiet location made the place absolutely serene. The house and gardens are stunning/special. Room was very comfortable and cool.

My husband and I went for went for our anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing. The owner was wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. From keeping the fire going to giving us a complimentary bottle of champagne. We would recommend the place to anyone thinking of staying in the area. You can't do better than Merindol Manor.

We only spent one night and booked two rooms. The 2nd room had no hot water which was a pity.

I will suggest that Vincent to invest in plug-in mosquito repellents for the rooms - small detail that will make a big difference.

The breakfast was superb and as per the reviews. Loved the spacious rooms, ability to sit on the veranda, quality linen on the bed and relaxing pool. Vincent provided us with useful information about activities and places in the area- an ambassador to the tourist industry in the area

Merindol Manor is an exceptional Guesthouse set back against mountains with a view to die for. everything was carefully thought out and Lorinda, the housekeeper, very attentive to everything. the building is very well kept and the gardens beautiful. A really restful place to spend time.

Beautiful guest house and gardens, with spacious, comfortable en-suite rooms. Friendly, welcoming service. Vincent is a great host (and cook!). Wonderful atmosphere and delicious breakfast. The yoga/meditation/reiki retreat with Paige was lovely, and I’m so glad I booked an extra night. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay! Hospitality on point, large rooms, nice pool area, great breakfast to enjoy on the patio overlooking the beautiful garden. Central but yet quiet with two great restaurants just a couple of blocks away, and a four minute drive to the bigger Riebeek Kastel. Comes well recommended!

Vincent has created the perfect getaway tucked among the vineyards of Riebeek West. His personal attention cooking phenomenal breakfast (pancakes made especially for the kids), homemade preserves and olives, fresh juice from the fruiting trees, many spots around the property to lazily pass the time. The 4-bedroom property feels like a proper home with all the comfort and coziness that comes along. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
