Di and Thando are great host, they allowed me to check in early and check out late. The lodge is very cosy with beautiful views. I enjoyed my stay there.

South Africa6 reviews“Family One night stay”I really have to think of something here. There wasn't anything in particular that I didn't like, maybe just a bit more information in the room of places you would recommend. Also I do think for an extended stay it might be a bit of a squeeze.
This is a very beautiful place with a lovely view. I had a nice hot shower. The rooms were very tidy, clean and comfortable. Not fancy, but very good value for money.

The log cabins are private andbeautiful with lovely views. You are guaranteed a great night's sleep with a comfortable bed and black out curtains! The property also has 3 trails through the forest you can explore.

The actual location was even more amazing then the photos on the booking site. As a nature lover and birder this place was wonderful. Around the chalets is a beautiful landscape waiting to be explored. Many birds and many plants to see. Peaceful solitude. Especially nice for a couple. We loved seeing the crowned eagles and also locating their nests. Saw a purple crested turaco fly by. The trails were populated by a variety of birds. The plant life beautiful. At day/night one could hear the sounds of birds and all little creatures. Really felt in nature. We stayed in the superior chalet. Had every amenity we needed. Very clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable. Fell asleep easily. Lovely balconies and folding doors that opened up. Best choice made in booking this place. Need to stay here longer next time.

Although there are fans the sun can be rather fierce but in general it was amazing.
It was absolutely quite and traquil away from the busy lives we live this was exactly what I needed. So Peaceful. Everything was comfortable from the bed to the cleanliness even the showers had hot/cold water which is always a bonus. There were no concerns at all, i felt at home without the need to do anything but just relax and unwind.
