The property was dated but was what we were expecting from their photos, etc.

The gardens were exceptional. Although the owner was not well her daughter met us, and we were given braai meat and salads to cook ourselves. Absolutely delicious. We left early so did not have breakfast. Furnishings are dated, but comfortable.

Farm feel and absolute quietness. The food was exceptional and the hostess with staff were kind and caring.

Kitchen is a bit sparse, but adequate for one or two nights. I am slightly disabled and not being able to park the car near to the Unit is for me a great disadvantage.

old world charm of a working farm with beautiful gardens and genuinely friendly owners and staff. Stunning traditional South African boerekos dinner. all sourced from the farmyard and cooked by the homeowner tannie. 10/10

The guest farm was warm, welcome and clean. The hearty dinner was absolutely on point, very tasty and well prepared. The springbok carpaccio was amazing. The garden is beautifully cared for.

We did not stay for breakfast but ordered dinner on the date of arrival. There is a relatively short detour from the N1 to the farm, but I would travel double that distance just for the dinner. The accommodation is in a farmhouse, which is comfortable, BUT the dinner can only be described as amazing. The meal was a homely farm-cooked dinner that I would rate 10 out of 10.

Despite booking for breakfast, we were told the night before at dinner that it was not available. They did however make a plan after we asked if they could put out some simple cereal and milk for our children and us. We were surprised when they charged us R170 for 3 bowls of cereal.

Dinner was excellent. Very tasty food. Lovely gardens and vast green lawns for children to explore and run around on. Good pool and jungle gym to keep kids entertained.

The property is like an oasis in the middle of the Karoo. It is beautiful and the hosts are very welcoming. We requested both dinner and breakfast and both were excellent.

I cannot think of a thing

Of course, the room is clean and nicely situated. The gardens were fantastic! The dinner cooked by the owner was exceptional! Mielies as a starter, followed by springbok, lamb, rice and potatoes, pumpkin fritters, green beans, homemade, relish, beetroot, salad, and ending with a Malva like pudding. Wow.

The guest house and the yard are extremely beautiful. The grounds are lush, and the garden is amazing. Kyla was a wonderful host. Always made sure I am okay and Checking if I needed anything. The while staff team was wonderful.

Signposting from freeway.

We arrived late, had dinner and left the next morning so did not have time to explore the facilities. The dinner was outstanding and most enjoyable. Great value for money. We enjoyed a huge room that was very comfortable with enough cupboard space for a battalion of soldiers. The service from the manageress and hostess/owner was great.
