i love the insect repellent they gave for the house but unfortunately the location has a lot of mosquitoes

We just stayed here for one night, after landing in PE. The hosts were great, they gave us lots of great recommendations and also explaining a lot, like the fynbos.

Amazing property with a large pool that invites for swimming and diving. The hosts are extremely forthcoming and the breakfast is very tasty. They were also very helpful in giving tips and all other things needed. Highly recommended.

The location of the house is brilliant and in a beautiful treed avenue, the house itself is rich in history and well maintained, it truly felt like home to home for us and if ever we need to stay over in PE again that will be our 1st choice. Our room was exactly as described!

Stay 26.02-28.02.24 What a wonderful stay with Hennie and Hayley. Extremely friendly, attentive, helpful and lovable. Hennie in particular gives very good tips for activities in the region but also generally interesting travel information for South Africa. Very nice and warm atmosphere in the Millbury Guesthouse, whose gardens are decorated with great attention to detail. Certainly in the top 3 of the 9 accommodations on our trip lasting several weeks in South Africa. We felt very comfortable here and will be back on a future stop in P.E. will definitely book with Hennie and Hayley again. Eckhard and Maria Germany

Beautiful house and gardens. Very comfortable. Wonderful hosts who were very responsive, helpful, and accommodating to our needs. Delicious breakfast on the verandah overlooking busy bird feeders. Good recommendation for restaurant for dinner, and easy to get an Uber there (altho hosts also offered a ride for a reasonable fee). Would highly recommend this property!

This is a truly beautiful property. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean and very well appointed (having a fridge and microwave was a real bonus). The pool area and gardens are lovely. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Fantastically helpful hosts who make you feel so welcome to this wonderful accommodation. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Millbury, and indeed we hope to come back.

My daughter and two friends stayed here for an event they were attending at Grey School. They really enjoyed their stay and said that the whole experience was fantastic. The room they stayed in was spacious enough for 3 of them to each have their own bed. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. They had a very happy time.

It was simply one of the best experiences I have ever had at a guest house. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Port Elizabeth. Amazing hosts and the room exceeded all of my expectations.
