Everything was well kept and in it's place.... Loved it.

I loved everything about this place ! I will be back. From the time the security opened the gate for us to park our car and wanting to carry our belongings till we left after breakfast it was awesome. Comfortable beds ,crisp linen,stunning bathroom with large towels and a pool to cool off in after a long day.

My wife and I did not like leaving. Milner House is AMAZING!!!!!

We booked in on a Sunday, the 1st of October 2023. We were received by Kenneth (Cant remember his surname) The friendliest guy EVER. He booked us in Room 8 , showed us around the property. Showed us where everything was, the gym, the restaurant, the bar. He even took the time to show us what the other rooms looked like. He asked us at what time we would like to have dinner. (Not just give us a time) At 7pm we ate, after that we went to sit out by the koi pond and just relax. At about 9pm, he came out to us to ask if there was anything we needed. (This is truly service at its BEST) We retired to our room for the evening. Now I've been in some of South Africa's best hotel rooms, and let me tell you they can come and get a good couple of designer tips from the owners of Milner House. The bed was AMAZING, the bathroom was SPOTLESS, and the finishes throughout our room screamed of opulence (well infact the whole property, for that matter) We requested breakfast at 7am the next morning, and sure enough, we walked in at 7am, and our table was set with our breakfast (starter- yogurt and musli with fresh fruit) while our main breakfast was being prepared by the chef.(super friendly as well) We went out for the day, and when we came back, the new reception/concierge was on shift Sharon Barker and again welcomed us back, asked if there was anything we needed. Our room was again spotless and made up and in a superb state. The next morning after breakfast, I asked Sharon if I could take photos of the rooms and property for my social media platforms, and she took me to all the available rooms, opened up and let me do my thing. My wife and I would like to thank ALL the staff at Milner House for a truly memorable stay, I would highly recommend Milner House as the ONLY place to stay in Kimberly. I'll be back next month again, and you can just guess where I'll be staying. We need a Milner House in Cape Town!!!!! (😉Asking for a friend😉)

The room was a bit small but clean. The security seemed a little overdone with cameras everywhere. It kind of made us a bit paranoid. However, somebody else might like that.

The owner provided excellent meals, The included breakfast was exceptional. The owner was very friendly and anxious to make us happy with our needs. He was nice to talk with and spoke English. The facility had everything that an Explorer/Traveler needs.
