Although the property sit on the outskirts of Colesberg the flats are clean, comfortable bed and overall a perfect place for halfway sleep over on way to Johannesburg.

South Africa2 reviews1 helpful vote“Ideal halfway stop for weary travellers.”Colesberg has declined into a bit of a slum, so it is the town that is becoming unfriendly to some people. We used to be able to walk the streets and visit restaurants in the evenings, a few years ago. Now it feels unsafe and overcrowded.
Safe on-site parking, lovely room. Friendly helpful staff. I particularly like that the property is a bit out of the main streets of the town and feels a bit safer from robbery and attacks.

Convenient and close to N1 freeway. Very comfortable for an overnight stay for a couple. We were there in summer, so were able to eat our dinner outside at the table/ chairs provided. Smoking facility outside.

The flooring in our room (nr. 1). The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The fact that they cater for smokers outside.

This was just a sleep and go kind of environment. It felt like we were kind of being kicked out. We arrived very late. We were tired and were told to be out of the place by 9am. We did leave at 9am but we felt rushed. This is way early compared to normal check out time elsewhere.
It was relatively clean though we saw a few cockroaches. Maybe when not used it is not refreshed. The finishes were nice and colourful.

South Africa2 reviews“Thanks Mimosa for the lovely stay - will support again.”I couldn't find the AC remote, but it was nice and cool that night so it didn't matter. There is a wifi password in the book but there is no wifi.
The owner was friendly, the place was clean and access was easy. There was also a helpful book with for instance the menus of the local restaurants.
