House is quite dark so the lights always have to be on.

LOVE that the Wi-Fi stays on during load shedding. This was a lovely surprise. Although the lights may not work during load shedding they do provide a battery powered light which is more than enough :)

Bed very hard and uncomfortable every morning awake with back pain, I think need to put foam memory cover just to improve it.

Could use one or two rechargeable lights to deal with frequent load shedding. Also a gas burner to deal with lack of electricity to cook during load shedding.

I didn't like that some of the kitchenette were not throughly washed. And that housekeeping was not offered.

Everything about that apartment. Although we struggled with how to operate the stove but we were able to manage at the end.

Well presented, spacious and well equipped for cooking etc. Safe and secure with friendly security guards and in a good location close to a mall, supermarkets and restaurants - a popular area with a good vibe over the weekend! Great communication by the owner. Netflix on the TV was a plus!

It is a little noisy, as it’s on a well-used street.

Perfectly situated next to Starbucks and Proud Mary. as near as you can get to Rosebank. Easy to shop for groceries and necessities. Beautifully decorated. Compact but very functional kitchen.

On the Quesrion about the beds, an extra set of pillows would have been nice. The stove/oven is and not very intuitive (lots of steps to get it working) and so some instruction on that could be helpful. Instruction on the curtains would also have been helpful.

They had lots of extra supplies (toilet paper, laundry detergent) etc. which was great for the week-long stay. Access was super easy. Parking was easy. Everything was great.

The apartment close by had loud children but it wasn't hugely disturbing. We came during a cold front. The apartment had some small heaters and an electric blanket but it was freezing!

The location of this property is fabulous. Within steps, there is a mall (The Zone), grocery stores, and a variety of restaurants. It's pretty much next to a huge Starbucks. I couldn't have asked for a better location. The room was well appointed. We were very comfortable. I was able to get into the property earlier than I indicated (still within check-in time stated). I didn't have access to the internet, so I wasn't able to communicate with the property owner properly but the key was with the guard. It made it easier to check-in and rest after our long day.

Great flat with a great location and the host is very considerate. We wanted to stay a few hours over the check out time as our flight was delayed and there were no extra charges. Also, they have heated mattress, how cool is that 😎

With a bit of a cold spell in Jhb I found the flat to be very cold .. and the supplied heater was quite ineffective. The electric blanket on the bed was a saver though.

Its in an old apartment building that has been renovated inside. It’s a little bit cool in the winter months but there’s a nice heater to keep you cosy.

Really spacious and nicely designed apartment. In an amazing location close to the mall and City Sightseeing bus. Quiet at night time. The host is fast to respond and very accommodating to our requests.
