We liked absolutely everything! Lovely home, comfy and well laid out. A comfortable stay. Everything is clean and in its place. The view from the stoep is amazing looking over Clarens.

A few extra amenities would help make the stay more homely, such as hand wash in the kitchen, additional garbage bags for the bin, some newer pans for cooking, and perhaps a bit of fumigation as there were a few creepy crawlers (Doom was provided though). But these minor details did not hamper our enjoyment of the stay at all and we would stay again.

The golf estate is amazing, absolutely beautiful. The home is very comfortable and it was a pleasure to stay there. It was great to go for walks around the estate and the golf course, as well as walk around town. The golf course is fantastic, for those interested it costs roughly R700 for a round of 18 plus a cart during the week. It is a beautiful course and a lot of fun to play on (bad golfers, like me, beware, the course is ball magnet, I lost at least 8 balls during my round). All in all this is a fantastic little home to stay in and would recommend it for anyone. We had our 9-month old with us and he loved it.

No wifi available. No back up power during load shedding, but it didn’t bother or affect us.

We loved our stay here! Underfloor heating, electric blankets and a lovely fire place to make it nice and cosy in middle of winter. Beautiful views, quiet and safe. Close to town. Lovely place for a weekend away in Clarens! We will stay here again.

Nothing, the place was lovely. From the tranquility, to the secure location over looking the mountains. Everything was alright.

The heated floors, the security and feel of being home. The lack of a garage wasn't a bad thing but I did have a minor issue with something but the owner resolved it. I would recommend the place to anyone else. I had a good time and am willing to revisit.

To pay separately for the gas use for the lounge heater was not made known beforehand. The property description said there is a heater in the lounge without mentioning the extra cost. The price charged for a bottle filled with gas is much more than the market related price and you must pay for a full bottle, even if you can never use up the gas during an overnight stay.

The weather was ice cold but the house was nice and warm, underfloor heating switched on, electric blankets available and gas heater in lounge. Felt snugly warm and welcome immediately. Cutlery, crockery , bedding, everything was top notch.

Nothing. We loved it. Be aware that there is no WIFI (I forgot to check when booking) but I used my friend's mobile hotspot on the rare occasion that I needed to. It was actually quite nice to be internet-free for a couple of days. Cafes in town have wifi if you're really desperate.

Lovely cottage with heated bedding and floors in bathroom and kitchen. Fantastic views and location to the town and Golden Gate National Park. We visited the hide just as the vultures were feeding on a zebra. It was a major highlight of our short visit so felt very blessed. We were hit by a sudden cold spell so the warm house was wonderfully cosy. The town is very quant and pretty and I was delighted to find five varieties of tomato jam, which is surprisingly hard to get hold of in the bigger cities like Pretoria. I can't comment on the self-catering facilities as we opted to eat out at Clementines both nights. But I'm sure we would not have experienced any issues if we had tested the cooking facilities. Security is top notch and the place felt very secure and safe. Would absolutely stay here again.

The location was great. The host was friendly and helpful. The villa was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Amazing views of the mountains.
