United StatesLack of self catering as a dining option The property is huge, it would be humane to invest in a riding lawn mower instead of having someone walking that whole property to mow the lawn!
The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The meals are simple and reasonably priced. Love the location! The rooms are clean and spacious. The property is well maintained. Very relaxing atmosphere overall

South AfricaThe chairs in the room were not that comfortable A cozy Couch to relax inside the room would be great. Would have been nicer if there was a lounger or something more comfortable to sit outside the room. Only powdered milk in the room (Long life milk or even some fresh milk in the room would be better) . Perhaps add 1 or 2 simple meal options to the dinner menu.
Delicious breakfast, beautiful scenery and wonderfully quiet. Washington and Karabo were lovely.

South AfricaNo TV :( In today's times, a TV is a standard in a room. Taking into consideration the Cricket and Rugby World Cups which we missed :( The other missing item was a Bar Fridge in the room. This hotel is situated in an area that is really hot, so this could have been catered for. Mosquitoes: Ensure you take a good repellent with during your stay.
The service was excellent especially from the gentlemen DC and Yusuf. The latter was simply awesome. The room size was decent. The bathroom was larger than usual. Both kept very clean daily. The pool was good & clean. I only found out at the end of my stay, there's a Clubhouse like area with a pool table. We requested Fish for our Dinner and they humbly obliged. Very well prepared. Breakfast was absolutely great too. Good for just chilling, destressing, swimming and peace.

South AfricaI didn't like the tiles throughout the room, it made it even more cold. They do have a heater and heated blankets to make up for that though. No TV, but I mean embrace the nature and all that.
It's a beautiful location as it is surrounded by nature. The breakfast was delicious too!

Our stay at the lodge was made really memorable by the hospitality of the staff. Breakfast and dinner was wonderful. Our room views were amazing. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back in the future and will also recommend the lodge to our friends and family.

South AfricaThe property is in the perfect spot. The African Bush so close to a big city. Close to home yet it feels so far away. The ideal surroundings. Clean Rooms and fantastic staff, in particular Washington and Yusuf. No wifi in the rooms was a major issue though for people who have children to contact. A small tv will be great too, even in the cheapest rooms. Even though being away from the realities of life is great, getting in touch with nature is great too, life is life and guests need to be in contact with their loved ones at any given time, not only in designated areas.
The property was unlike anything i have experienced. The bush away from the hustle and bustle of Joburg. Quaint surroundings. The perfect Getaway.

South AfricaWe booked as it was the closest to a venue nearby where we were attending a wedding but it was expensive for what we got. The bedding and towels were old, uncomfortable and in desperate need of replacement. There is no mini fridge in the room - I understand that it is not self catering accommodation but a mini fridge is standard for any hotel room. We were going to a family function at a different lodge one night and had no way to keep our meat and drinks cold. Our request to the lodge to keep it cold for us was denied. Feels like unnecessary policing as we did make use of the restaurant facilities at all times while we were at the lodge.
The staff were friendly and the restaurant food was good. The massages at the spa were very good.
