There's absolutely nothing to complain about

We recently stayed at Moncheri and were blown away by the amazing welcome and wonderful aura that Mada had. The location is perfect and central to shops and activities. The kitchen is fully kitted with all essentials for a self-catering accommodation. The patio has spectacular views of the mountains, a perfect view for sundowners. It was a great way to relax and unwind in Clarens after a long day of exploring. We would highly recommend Moncheri to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay

To find out that it is a pet friendly place, but you may not let you dog stay alone at the premises, then you will get a non-negotiable fine of R1 000.00. Need a comfortable chair to sit on inside the room.

Everything was perfect.

Mon Cheri Clarens is located within walking distance of all shops and restaurants. The property is beautifully maintained, with excellent amenities. The view from the balcony is magnificent.

The fact that we had to leave

What an excellent getaway facility. The host, Mada, was probably the most friendly and efficient host i have had the pleasurer of dealing with. The room was spotless and we were made to feel most welcome, even our dog Yoshi. The views from the room are spectacular to say the least and are just what is required for a relaxing holiday. We will certainly be going back there

The property was clean, well equipped, modern and well situated. The back garden is a bonus for your dog and we also enjoyed gazing at the stars. Mada was very kind and gifted us with some biscuits for Valentines Day and also had some spoils for our little dog.

The weather was very hot and a fan would have been most welcome, especially at night as we were melting.

Proximity to the main street was a short walk. Our furbaby was happy with the garden his treats given by the host. We were grateful for the cleanliness and freshness of the room.

I loved how it had everything for a self catering accommodation. The fact that you have a private patio back yard with a mountain view. The design of the room was remarkable.

Nothing, everything was perfect. The facilities are on point and the location is ideal, didn't need to drive anywhere. The place is so tranquil and beautiful...

The owner sent me a message 10 days before arrival with details of how to get there including check in times. On the day she met us at the property to hand over the keys herself.

Like a little gem, every detail was thought of and absolutely beautifully decorated and layout was simple and clean. Owners were very accomodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Loved everything about our stay.

We loved the convenience of being close to the square yet still got to enjoy the peace and serenity of the mountains and fresh air. Our host Mada was absolutely amazing, kind, welcoming and friendly. She goes out of her way to make your stay as memorable as possible. Her attention to detail is unmatched. For this reason alone we would visit Mon Cheri over and over again. The property is well maintained and is extremely clean. We loved the modern finishes. You will have everything you need if you stay at this property. Mada has thought of everything to make your stay amazing!
