Internet can be sketchy when there are power cuts but still better than most places in mahikeng. I would have liked slightly more kitchen equipment (cheese grater, sharp knife). There is some road noise but it's not intrusive. There is a hand shower but no standing shower.

Wonderfuly responsive staff. Loved the pool and the grass and the cool thatch roof. Really enjoyed that it was serviced every day. Clean and lovely. Really the best value for money in mahikeng. Important to note: this property has a borehole so if there are powercuts you just need to ask the staff to switch to the reserve tank, there is ALWAYS water. There is a large corner bath. Very close to town yet out of the busyness.

The hospitality was exceptional. The host was kind enough to bring my breakfast to my room when I did not pitch up at the agreed time. The accommodation is in the village and gives off a "home" type of experience

Our bedroom had no duvet on, only a sheet and cover, we used the thick blanket though. Breakfast was supposed to be an English breakfast (eggs, bacon, mushrooms, toast and jam) - we were served scrambled eggs, viennas, cooked broccoli and some grated cheese, which is not a proper English breakfast. No jam provided for toast. We liked the granola and yoghurt though. For R120 per person, the breakfast definitely disappointed us.

The venue is pleasant, has a pool and play area for kids. Staff is friendly. Accommodation was clean.

The lady we spoke to on the flphone was very rude and she said she isn't expecting any guests so our booking was a scam!

Nothing at all we couldn't even get to see the venue inside. I tried calling when I got there and no one came through to open for us.

Room 1 and 2, the room entrance where there's a carpet is very slippery. The toilet in room 3 has no door.

Absolutely loved the rooms, that there is enough towels. It was clean and the staff was great and helpful. Would definitely consider coming back. The scenery next to the pool is to die for.

The sign to the place was very difficult to see - it should be on the other side of the road and much bigger. Google maps takes you to the wrong place so we got lost - we should have been warned about that. The hand shower wasn't great. There were things missing e.g. only 1 towel for 2 people, cutlery and power points missing, fridge not working. All the staff were very pleasant though.

There was no hot water. Electricity was out the next morning - no backup or generator. The facilities, especially the plumbing, is in very poor condition. One of the rooms did not receive towels.

It was cold, maybe they can get electric blankets instead of those big blankets from my friend. Have a back up generator, install aircons. The breakfast was not great, especially for the amount they charged. I wish I would have just went to Wimpy with it.

The room is perfect, with its mini kitchen. I feel they could make the place actually look like a guesthouse with proper curtains, it's a beautiful establishment and I understand they starting out but sometimes it's a great idea to outsource and get an interior designer to do your deco etc..
