The breakfast area opened a bit late if we wanted to get out early for activities scheduled to start early in the morning. I did receive a breakfast pack on one day and it was enough food. I would have liked more fruit. The taps in the bathroom had loose handles, and these tended to drop off, so were not fixed correctly. The loose screws were inside the tap handle. The room door handle and lock mechanism were only just catching, and more than once the door would open by itself when we were in the room. This could be fixed by simple adjustment of the lock and catch plate.

Yes we enjoyed the breakfast. The selection was wide and the food was fresh and well prepared. The hotel and gardens are well kept and quiet for the location right in the middle of town. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help.

Beautifull hotel good breakfast lovely garden, but in our room no 47 their were a sound during the night like a geaser that put on every few minutes that was a little bid disturbing during the night, otherwise def want to go back to one of that rooms on the swimming pool look beautifull

The prices for the rooms as well as the restaurant is definitely more suited for international guests. We stayed in a classic room and the room can do with a bit of adjustments, and that is the modern part of it.

The facilities are good and clean and the staff are amazing and friendly. The bed in the room is comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was lovely and the complimentary vetkoek the evening with dinner as amazing (you should add that to your extras menu and your breakfast menu).

Second visit on our road trip around Cape Provence. Chose to return and stay on our homeward leg as enjoyed first visit so much. Were upgraded to Honeymoon Suite as hotel was quiet and eat in restaurant again. Another good meal and wine.

Charming hotel of yesteryear. A "hotel experience" for my young children who did not grow up with a country or "dorp" hotel. Friendly staff, sparkling clean and neat. Walking distance from restaurants and shops to browse in. A great experience!

The wooden floors in the main building can be quite noisy if you sleep close to the main building stairs and hear guests in the night come in

The hotel was in the perfect location on the main street. We loved the different areas of the hotel, for example the front courtyard restaurant, the two garden swimming pools and indoor lounge area.
