The size of the accommodation booked is more than sufficient for a small gathering. Very tranquil location. Nice swimming pool. Friendly and helpful hosts that are passionate about their property.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Friendly people, who will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, happy and at home. I have never experienced such good service at any accommodation like we did at Mothopo Game Lodge. The facilities were neat and clean and it felt like home away from home. Nothing was too much to ask and they even arranged special picnic for my husband's 50th birthday. We will definitely be back.

Received a call about someone having to come drop off tiger off at our home before leaving Joburg which we didn't know anything about. But the lady responsible kept insisting she told us about.

The accommodation was very private and comfortable. We were there for 3nights and hardly saw anyone except for the staff that came to check if we were fine

They have bush babies on the property and unfortunately they kept getting inside the house and my kids were really uncomfortable. One actually bit me when I was trying to get it out. They are very intrusive and clearly not animals to be kept as pets. No one looked forward to getting out of their rooms in the morning because they were always there in the living space.

The place was very tranquil and it had everything we needed for cooking and entertainment. The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing. The pool was very clean.

It was an amazing experience. The owners are wonderful kind hearted people who care about their guests. They kept communicating with us to made sure we arrived safely at the lodge. They also made sure we didn't need anything during our stay.

We had a great weekend getaway at Mothopo. The owner communicated well with the guests, giving clear directions. We felt very safe and had a lot of privacy on the farm. Heating in the room makes the stay very comfortable.

We had an very relaxing weekend at Mothopo Game Lodge. Great location and facility. The teenagers enjoyed the cycling in the surrounding areas and we climbed up the hill to go and watch the sunrise together in the morning. Weather was a bit cold to swim, but the kids did go and lie next to the sparkling pool a few times to relax and soak up the winter sun. I enjoyed the cosy boma and braai facilities with ample wood supplied to keep us going long into the night. The spa treatments were of a good standard and we found them very relaxing. Walter and his family made us feel at home and went the extra mile for us to ensure that all our needs and expectations were met during our stay. They really added a personal touch to the game drive and we enjoyed their company. Rooms were comfortable with the aircons working fine, keeping the rooms nice and cool during the day and warm and cosy at night. Nice big fridge in the kitchen for all the braai ingredients and supplements.

Once you are inside, you need to call everytime you need to go out. Rooms has auto lock keys. the rooms kept on locking themselves.

I like the exclusivity, the privacy, intimate.. not too big, surrounding environment and the cleanliness. The braai area was perfect.

This lodge is absolutely spectacular. The setting is so beautiful. It really is a tranquil place to unwind and relax. Our accommodation was so comfortable. A really spacious unit. Walter the owner is such a friendly guy. He is really knowledgeable about the area. He made us feel really welcome. Will definitely be back. We loved the boma and fire pit. We made a huge fire both nights. Firewood is made available to guests.

We had a 2 days full where we couldnt watch tv because the dstv had no signal. Out if the 3 nights we only had signal on sunday night other day nothing

I liked the fact that the house was clean, we thoroughly enjoyed the fire place and the game drive which had a nice picnic set up. Ruben was absolutely a delight, he is full of information and has good sense of humor

Would have liked to go on a game drive on our own as well, but we understood that the buffaloes might have been a bit dangerous navigating on our own. :-)

Location was beautiful with sunset views of the mountains. Very good instructions on how to get there and very good communication from the owners. They are such nice people. Braai area is fantastic.
