The Cedwerberg is unique - and this is a wonderful place to stay if you don't want to cook all the time. Great dinner and breakfast. The surrounds are absolutely beautiful.

We loved everything about Mount Ceder. We received a very warm welcome; everybody who attended to us during our stay were super-friendly and so accommodating. Our cottage offered everything it promised and was very well-equipped. The wonderful silence and the star-filled nights were unexpected treasures. We'll definitely visit Mount Ceder again, thank you!

Very far to drive to other places.”We didn’t stay close to each other, and we could have stayed 3 people in one house. The single lady were not happy to stay so far away from us. We were driving a-lot between 3 houses. Did not know we will stay in Eco houses. Gravel road not nice.

Netherlands43 reviews3 helpful votes“Stunning nature location for hikes, warm welcome from Mount Ceder team”Not much… maybe the shower / bathroom, but I am really searching for something now. The meals are a bit heavy, don’t expect light salads, but that’s not the norm across SA anyway.
Truely special location, at an Olive Farm in a valley. Some things that make Mount Ceder stand out: the location, with beautiful sunsets and sunrises, highly recommended hikes nearby including the waterfall hike, and comfortable cottages with lots of space and all facilities you might need for braai or a self-catered stay. We opted to have breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, which was excellent, and wonderful staff.

The most unbelievable, peaceful setting. We stayed in the cabin on top of the hill, Klipbokkop. It was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a generator during load shedding, an indoor fireplace, a stunning wrap around verandah, aircon and fully equipped kitchen. The main reception has a lovely restaurant and the staff were fabulous.

South Africa6 reviews“My wife and I spent a pleasant relaxing stay in the Leeustert cottage.”The gas geyser for the shower in the cottage didn't work properly resulting in either too hot or too cold water. Could do with some cupboard space.
Comfortable well equipped cottage with lovely views across the valley to the olive orchards. Visit to the waterfall was well worth the walk. Nice external and internal braai facilities.
