That they directed us to the wrong chalet and after a long haul up an incline with all our luggage we were told we had to move. But the managers were very apologetic and they did come and move all our stuff for which we were very grateful.

That there were wild animals roaming around and even came right up to our bedroom window. That the managers were extremely kind and helpful. The scenery was beautiful.

Unfortunately Eskom had an power outage that lasted for 2 days. This was quite frustrating as there were elderly people and a baby in our large group of 12 people.

Fantastic location, peaceful and quiet. Great location to relax and experience with only nature can offer. Accommodation was great, comfy beds.

Firstly the host was very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for that well needed rest away from the city, surrounded by beautiful views. The facilities were clean. The host provided a heater. Self catering friendly. I would rate it a 100 if I could.

It was a bit inconvenient with the double bed on top and the bathroom on the ground floor.

I arrived during loadshedding, and I was well received. My access to the place and the room was made easy by Maci. I liked the tranquility of the place, the beauty of nature, and the animals in their natural habitat. The chalet has the necessary equipment for self-catering purposes.

Nothing, the place exceeded my expectations. Very modern for the farm accommodation.

Property had two gates opened and closed by cellphone missed calls, wow! Keys were inside the chalet. Seamless check- in. The chalet had state of the art gadgets. The chalet was cool when it was scotching hot outside.

I didn’t like that there was freezing water in the morning. We didn’t even take a shower. Also my family and I were accused of stealing a towel, I don’t know if I should perceive this as a racist comment.

The place and location is exactly what I expected and would go for for my vacations. Clean, & tranquil!

Noise of solar on the roof due to bad wind conditions was a bit disturbing but that is something out of the ordinary. We could not get the shower to warm up properly, it was either cold or VERY hot. We probably not so familiar with the set up. But all in all, a wonderful stay.

We were looking for a overnight place and it was perfect.

Chalet is a bit run down and can also do with thorough cleaning. We did not like that there was no parking next to the chalet. We had to carry our stuff some distance to the chalet. There was also no braai area at the chalet, only a communal braai area, which can also be upgraded. The braai grids were filthy.

Administration and communication from management was excellent. We even received the loadshedding schedule. There was a rechargable lamp for loadshedding. Beautiful views. Beds were comfortable, everything was superficially clean.
