Unfortunately we only spent 1 night here as we booked in for a nearby wedding that we were attanding. Very friendly host and magnificent views over the valley below. We will be back 👍

The path from the main road to the place was a dirt road of about 5 min. They did work on the little road to the place the day before but it rained that night. It wasn't terrible at all and we more than managed with my SUV cross and my son's Little Golf. But I just don't like to go on roads like that as I worry about my car. But it was only 5 min and Bev and Joanna were super helpful, sweet and very welcoming so it more than made up for it

It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were gracious and very welcoming.

Road to the accommodation, especially after the rain. Suggest maybe get it tarred or paved or even levelled in order to make the entry up the hill seemless and less stressful. not very condusive for access with a normal car.

When I arrived we were welcomed with open arms and I immediately felt at home (the feeling is important) and the room was ready for us. The room had everything and more that one could only think of and I could have easily stayed for a week. It was my wedding reception and Johanna made sure I had everything I needed and was checking up on me, I truly felt so special. I was transported to our venue by Johanna and her Hubby who made me feel like an absolute princess for my special day, they made me feel so at home I had no nerves what so ever. When I arrived back I was welcomes with a bottle of very nice wine and chocolate, this was such a wonderful surprise to come to after a already fun filled event. A must visit!!! The views are stunning and the family is amazing. See you soon

Simply wonderful as always. I went to double check facilities before taking a school group but unfortunately due to the financial crisis we couldn't go with the group, but I'm amazed at the wonderful work that has been going on at this place. It's a home from home 😊

Location is great, but very rocky and steep to get to the unit. Suggestion to possible just grade the gravel road. Owner Bev and staff were great. They moved us to another room due to a burst geyser, and were very apologetic about this A great stay.

Amazing scenery, this is really nature in all of its raw glory. Development had not disturbed the natural suroundings and gives it a rustic feel. The owners are extremely helpfull and willing to assist where they can. You are in close proximity of all amazing venues such as the caves, spa's, musuems and many more activities. Great for a weekend get away.

The welcoming when we arrived was very friendly and Bev took us through every room. The view was spectacular and there is so much to do in the surrounding area. She was very helpful regarding service and all the rooms were very neat and had everything you need and more regarding self catering accommodation. Will definitely recommend to others!!!

Whats not to like.

Bev was amazing and so were her family. We had a short stay but was so relaxing and a amazing view.

Not a good first impression when arriving. No one at reception when we arrived. Had to go and find someone to assist/check us in. The area outside reception was littered with old broken appliances and empty water bottles. Did not create a warm welcome. The bedding inside the room seemed to be old and faded. Not what one expects for the price you pay. Dog kept us awake from 03:00 until 07:00, howling and scratching on a door somewhere. Overall, it was not a good experience.

I didn’t like the surrounding grounds, the property is untidy and messy.

The rooms were neat and clean and little thought out extras for braaing etc.
