Amazing experience. Great location, the best ever view out of your bed to the green highlands. Quiet, peaceful, hidden location. The owner is a very nice, helpful and friendly guy who really knows the meaning of the word "hospitality". Though we arrived much later than agreed, he waited patiently and welcomed us with a wide smile. We stayed for one night only, this place is definitely worth spending more time here.

Excellent product with amazing potential, so not much to fault. Electricity issues with weather so no power during our stay. But staff provided a generator for some lighting during dinner. Maybe travel with matches, a torch and candles when heading here.

Location, setting, accommodation, and friendly staff. Lovely, quiet setting far from the madding crowd and a good stop-over spot if you are heading for eSwatini or experiencing the World Heritage Geological journey on the Makhonjwa Mountains from Barberton.

    Actually nothing

A beautiful hidden mountain place near the border of eSwatini. Mamsie is a lovely host. She put all her love to comfort you. And more than enough delicious food. A place with a heart.

No WiFi No breakfast. No restaurant / shop for next 40 km to Barberton. Road from Swaziland side is really dreadful.

Amazing quality of accomodation. Nice view in the area. We ordered dinner in advance and food was really tasty. Great road from Barberton.

Everything was just perfect. The hospitality sums it all, we did not bring food as we had initially thought the place was closer to the shops and they provided food for us which they didn't have to (even started a fire for us to braai the meat). The rooms were all super clean and you didn't have to cringe when thinking of taking a shower/bath. The place is just a gem for someone who likes the countryside, the scenery is to die for.

There are no restaurants or cafes nearby, but there are facilities to cook at the place.

It’s a remotely situated groups of traditionally looking (well equipped to modern standards though) huts close to the border with Swaziland. The owner was delightful and we had a fantastic stay. The area is stunningly beautiful and the geotrail nearby - fascinating.

Beautiful and quiet location in the mountains. The drive up to the chalets is exceptionally beautiful. Nicely decorated chalets. Excellent view. Dinner and breakfast are entirely homemade and very delicious. Hiking trail (don’t forget to reserve your guide for long hikes).

The view from the house is truly amazing!! A really good place to calm your senses. We also went for a little hike up the hill, which we can really recommend as well. Even more stunning views from up there. The breakfast was also very nice (and a lot!)
