It was difficult to understand the member of staff who met us and showed us around. That was the only interaction we had with anybody on the site. There was far too many keys handed over which we struggled with and got very frustrated with when locking/unlocking the accommodation.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and very secure with a locked/secured garage.

The stove wasn't properly working so we had to struggle a bit making breakfast.. Our beds were not so clean on our first night a bit dusty and also struggled with water during loadshedding so honestly I think the place could do so much better with some maintenance

We enjoyed our stay the place was really beautiful and peaceful... and the host Mr John was very welcoming.. 😊

The kitchen was missing some essential items. For example, there were no sharp knives at all only butter knives. The lack of counter space also made it difficult. We self-cater because of food allergies, hence we need a kitchen that has all the standard tools and some counter space. If you are only going to braai and buy the rest of your food already prepared, the kitchen is fine. But bring your own sharp knives! We stayed Saturday and Sunday night, Saturday was very quiet but on Sunday night the music from other guests was quite loud. There is no management office on site so if a guest is rowdy, there is nothing one can do and there were no posted rules about noise. Fortunately in our case the noise was from two rooms that were a bit distant from ours so it wasn't too bad and perhaps someone did appear and ask them to quiet down.

The location was good (road to Hazyview needs work but beyond the ability of owners), the beds were good, room was good. Nice views over the valley and lots of birds in the garden for those who like to watch birds.

The cleaning ladies had some attitude, we kept asking for a Mop as the floor kept getting wet and dirty but they never provided☹️. As a result the floor was very dirty we had to buy a cloth to wipe the floor ourselves.

I liked the interior decor of the room, it looked standard🤗👌🏻

The lounge seating was very uncomfortable and the TV extremely small. The kitchen is very sparsely equipped, no grater, no plate inside the microwave and no table/work surface in the kitchen to prepare food. Cleaning service very poor, only beds were made, stove not cleaned, dishes not put away. The pool table is rickety, cues are damaged and no darts available to play darts.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were modern, clean and neat. The outside braai area was nice and the scenery is beautiful. Premises is secure.
