    Nothing. All great!

A beautiful, neat and clean cottage close to town so easy walking distance. Very comfortable bed. Delicious surprise of bread, yogurt, jams, butter, coffee and teas as well as granola and cereals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

Nice place with good views, a great terrace and plenty of space. Very comfortable and close to everything in the centre of town. Secure private parking. She was quick to respond and deal with a technical issue.

Not much to say. If nitpicking, the shower is quite close to toilet area so can be a little slippery when wet. Water supply can apparently be an issue for Clarens but we had no issues during our stay.

Perfect space and comfortable facilities for a couple, with cozy lounge area and fireplace. Great location just a short walk from the main square with lovely views towards the mountains. Appreciated the snacks/breakfast supplies provided. Compact but well-equipped kitchen area.

Honestly there wasn't anything to fault. The fridge needs something done to it to balance it properly, the compressor makes a racket, something rattles alot but with some minor adjustments to the feet it sorts it out. I see we weren't the only ones to try balance it. Some serviettes and the door stopper were under to try ease the rattle. Think it only happens when the fridge is full. But it didn't cause any discomfort. I love the cottage. Perfect for my wife and myself.

The views of the mountains from the cottage are stunning.. the location of the cottage is perfect to be able to walk to the town centre. The addition of some condiments, juice and water, tea and coffee supplies are super. Thanks for that.

The towels felt great but absorbed moisture poorly, most probably washed with with stay soft. WIFI did not work. With the heatwave that the country experience, the little fan in the bedroom was not adequate to cool down

    Clean and comfortable.

We could not find anything not to our liking.

Clarens Mountain Sage Cottage in Clarens offered a superb stay with thoughtful touches that made it truly special. We loved the spacious and meticulously tidy cottage and the charming garden. Its ideal location and close proximity to the village allowed for easy exploration of Clarens on foot. The coffee and tea station boasted a variety of coffees and teas, accompanied by rusks and cereal. The pleasant surprise of finding a well-stocked fridge, including butter, milk, bottled water, jams, fruit juice and yogurt, enhanced our experience.

The bed was really uncomfortable for a big person such as myself. Really didn't sleep well. . A new, firmer bed should be considered.

Great little cottage was everything that we had hoped for. Clean, safe, neat and tidy and a really good location close to the square. Great views also. And all the little extras made our stay so much fun and relaxing.

We weren’t the biggest fan of the shower, we know it’s for wheelchair accessibility but it made the whole room wet.

We loved the coziness of the place, the bed was very comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean.

Everything was perfect or even better

Wonderful cottage, very close to town center and with a fantastic view on the mountains. We could have spent the entire day on the porch. Very easy communication and simple access to the cottage, nice to have private secure parking. Lots of thoughtful little gifts that make guests feel very welcome; everything one could wish for breakfast was there. If we come back to Clarens (we enjoyed the hikes in the area), we'll definitely book the cottage again; meanwhile, we'll recommend it warmly to our friends

N/A - Wish we were there longer!

The fact that you are just out of town but close enough to walk… the fact that Santi checked in, left us some snacks, drinks and wood to make a fire! How quiet the surroundings were was also something I appreciated…
