The unit felt like home. Had all the amenities that one could ask for. Unit was spacious and made for a relaxing stay.

The work space in the kitchen is limited, if you are making dinner at home. Otherwise, a really great house to share with friends.

Lovely spacious home, very comfortable. Within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We have stayed in the one bedroom cottage on a previous visit, which is great for a couple. The house is ideal for family and friends.

Yhere was not anything we can complain about.

The beautiful, peaceful and quiet neighbourhood was just what we needed. The house is clean, well maintained and tastefully furnished. All the amenities we needed were available, and we particularly liked the braai on the stoep, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The host was very helpful and understanding when we had a last minute 'curveball'.

Long power cuts affect any stay in South Africa, making it a bit more of a camping experience during the load shedding times

We hadn't realised we were booking a whole house. Santi came and welcomed us personally, showed us round Clarens in her car, gave us extra supplies.

The situation of the property was good. Lovely spacious living area with a fireplace. We also liked the bedrooms with en suite bathrooms as we were 3 couples.

The gate battery not strong enough to open during loadshedding. Coming back from restaurant we were locked out of the property. No pedestrian gate. Owner needs to attend to this.

Nothing really. Everything was perfect.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The property is well kept and truly a home away from home. We will definitely be back. Next time we will bring an additional couple. We have a small group of very loyal friends. This is the place to share special moments.

Unfortunately, load shedding was a hassle including having no water during that time as the water pumps require electricity. No fault of the owners, suggestion to possibly include a generator for the water pumps.

Random comment but the toaster does not pop up on it’s on, had a few smokey moments if one walks out the room. Have to watch the toaster and don’t leave unattended. Possible fire hazard.

The house was well appointed, and had everything needed. It was a cold and rainy weekend so the fireplace we used a lot, the Amesti fireplace worked so well, and kept us cosy. The mountain views from the balcony and top bedrooms are amazing. Lovely and comfortable stay at Clarens Mountain Sage house.

Location is PRIME, only a very short walk to town centre. Modern and neat house, each room with on suite. Secure undercover parking. Perfect for three or four couples, or two families.

The place is perfect for 4 couples to stay including each having their own bathrooms and a very nice patio and a fireplace. It had all the amenities including wifi and is very close to the central square - it is walkable. A good outdoor braai when entertaining at home.

If I had to find something, the shower and basins could have mixer taps, and beds could have been bigger but not anything inconvenient
