The house is beautiful and the location is ideal as it is close to one of the Krugger gates. In addition, Valerie and Johan were lovely and gave us lots of great advice for our trip.

One of the best apartments I have ever booked via Booking! The rooms are beautiful and clean, with a nice view and everything you need is there. The whole area is just great, you can go hiking and Mbombela is very close. There's a pool, a huge garden and also a place to come together and BBQ. But over all, what we loved most about that place is the people and their friendly and warm nature! Valerie and Johan are just great, it was our first night in South Africa and they helped us a lot and made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the beginning! Thank you! Would definitely recommend and book again whenever we are there!

It would have been nice if we had had access to ice for our sundowners. Just wondering if Valerie could keep a packet of ice on her freezer that’s available for guests.

The location is perfect - peace and tranquility with a real farm atmosphere and not far from the city. The gardens are beautiful and the mango trees quite a treat ! Valerie and Johan were amazing hosts. Everything in the room is exactly like it was advertised, the bed is super comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. I would definitely stay there any time again !

It was our First night in South Africa and i was a pleasure to stay there. The welcome was so warmly and cordially. Nice place with a lovely garden and a beautyfull natrue around. Everything was clean and the Kirchen is full equiped. Yohann and Valerie are very nice and lovely people and gave a Lots of advices and help! I will defently recommend Mountain Valley Stay and hopefully will be there again on my next visit in south africa!

My husband and I went there for our anniversary to get away for a few days for some peace and quiet and that is exactly what we got. The place was awesome, the scenery was awesome, the owner (Johan and Valerie) were awesome. Would definitely visit again and this time take the family with.

This is a beautiful apartment, very clean and confortable. The hosts are very friendly, in the room there is an information book with not only infos about the room, but also ideas what to see and do in the area. We unfortunately did not have time to stay more than one night, but that would have been wonderful.

Everything was above my expectation. My friend and I used this place as a stopover to Kruger National Park. But I think it can be a destination itself. The accommodation is situated in a beautiful valley and I wish I stayed longer. Overall, it's a great place to stay and the host was amazing. :)
