Mymering was the ideal place to reflect and dream on our journey. The view is exceptional and we had a great walk through the vineyard. The unit is full of character and we enjoyed the private pool. Before departure we had an ice cold MCC produced on the farm - a great decision! We also appreciated the honest and warm ambiance.

Note that the road (around 5-7 mins by car) to the guest house is unpaved. Cleanliness of floor in the room and of the pool at the room's terrasse could be improved. Furniture in the room was quite old.

Very tasty diner and breakfast. Possibility to have a massage is great (and I had one, it was very good). View from the terrasse with a pool was nice, right on calm beautiful vineyards (N.B. room's terrasse is not fully private, it's shared with another room). The zone of reception with its terrasse where you can have diner or breakfast is beautiful and cozy.

What an amazing Experience. The scenery is stunning, the food is amazing, the rooms are top notch. Andy and Penny are such great hosts, and are so passionate about what they have built (quite rightly so). We did a wine tasting before Dinner on the first night, based on that meal we ate in their restaurant every night and lunch, served by the excellent team.. in fact it is so relaxing we didn't leave the farm for 3 days. Enjoyed a very informative walk with Andy and Penny around a small part of their vineyard in the morning with the dogs & leant a lot about grapes!! If you only book for one night, you will kick yourself, we stayed 3 nights and definetly could have stayed longer in this small slice of heaven in the Klein Karoo.

Delicious meals served al fresco on the beautiful veranda and a well appointed cottage made for a relaxing stay. The splash pool was an added bonus. Breathtaking views of vineyards and the Klein Swartberg mountain range added to the overall experience.

Messaged the property before asking dinner options and received no reply. Some confusion on arrival as we were self catering, but had not booked dinner, which was then offered at R400 per person which we felt a bit steep. So had to go back into town, some 15 km to buy provisions. No brain tongs or grid stand in one unit, but a clean grid and wood was provided.

Lovely setting overlooking the vineyard with the two rooms having their private patio, clean plunge pool and braais. Awesome Star gazing!

Braai had been recently painted so we couldn't use it, we tried but bad fumes. Supper was therefore at the restaurant, which was world class as always!

No negative aspects, just that we maybe should have stayed one night more.

Lovely welcome by the two owners, Andy and Penny and their staff. Andrea showed us through the vineyard to our cottage. We were overwhelmed by the nice cottage, the plunge pool, together with the stunning surroundings. Penny had meticulously picked out the dinner menus for the two nights we stayed, and the wines from their proper production were top-notch. We can warmly recommend Mymering to friends and family!

Breakfast was a little disappointing after such a fantastic dinner experience as the eggs benedict arrived with maybe a teaspoon of hollandaise sauce and no greens as per menu. These issues were resolved so in the end the breakfast was enjoyable. For coffee lovers - the coffee is not strong - I made my own in the cottage as I am in need of a good cuppa in the morning. But these are all minor issues and we really loved our stay. Thank you to all.

Black Poodle Cottage was immaculate and well laid out with all that was needed. Lots of outdoor seating and a little plunge pool. We were very happy that we could stay over with our dogs, although the greeting from one resident dog was not that welcoming but all could be managed. We went for lovely walks and I enjoyed the wine tasting. The dinner was delicious and my boys say it was the best ever!
