The gravel road to the accommodation is quite long, the swimming pool was dirty.

Lovely location and accommodation next to the river, nice spacious room, all facilities you need available, possibility for kayaking, lovely host (Sophia).

The weather haha.

We stayed in the tent for 3 nights which is a very comfortable tent with everything you need. The view on the river is beautiful and you can see a lot of lovely birds (sunbirds, kingfishers, african eagle) and monkeys. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, heavy rains for 2 days. The road to the location can be a challenge with heavy rains and a 'normal' car but we experienced this as an adventure :-) Sophia is a very kind and hardworking host, always available for questions and very caring. Breakfast is very good and nicely presented in the picnic basket. We drove to Addo one day which is about 25 minutes, the other day we visited the Daniel Cheetah project which was a great experience as well. Overall a great place to stay and experience a few days in a nature based environment.

Everything was great! 2 Little things: The road to the place is long and bumpy. And there was a little machine above the door wich gave a nice smell in the room, but it maked a very loud sound also in the night. We took it from the wall en put it in the bathroom 😅.. so we could sleep in silence.

Beautiful house at the river. Very nice bed, bathroom, outside shower and veranda. The breakfast was wonderfull!! The best we had in whole Sout-Africa! Sophia is lovely, I can recommend this place to everyone!

The road to the lodge is no prober road, especially with a small car it very bumpy (holes and waterholes).

Sophia is a great host!! She really cares about her guests and helps wherever she can. The pool is really nice and warm and the opportunity to use a kayak from the lodge for free is a great add on! The breakfast was nice and the room had very nice furniture.

Sophia was so helpful with directions and flexible with the arriving Times. The whole Lodge was beautiful, but the Tent was extraordinary! Too sad we stayed just one night.

For us it was perfect. Unique friendly support. You go to nowhere and end up in peace and relaxation. Great breakfast. Chalet and grounds uniquely beautiful. Peace. Peace. Silence. Only monkeys, birds, fish, all of which can get noisy. It was so nice for us that we extended one night. We will be happy to come back. Sophia made fresh breakfast and was always responsive. Very great, as it should be!!! Thank you so much!!!

the road to get to the lodge is a little tricky but nothing what a safe driver can’t handle - (more a FYI).

the location is amazing! you are right into nature and it’s super peaceful. 🌿 we combined our stay with a safari game drive at the addo elephant park (20 minutes drive from the lodge)

We liked the fully equipped unit with aircon, big comfortable bed, kitchen appliances and braai with beautiful river views and sunset. We enjoyed the canoeing with active fish jumping playfully around us and active night life.

Such a warm welcome by the host Sophia! She tended to us and genuinely wants her guests to have an amazing experience. The grounds and gardens are beautiful to stroll through, terrific swimming pool, with lush mature foliage surrounding the bungalow. We sipped our first coffees on the fabulous veranda and second coffees on the little dock by the river. Enjoyed a sunrise kayak watching birds fly and fish jump - it was so peaceful and quiet. The bungalow itself is beautiful inside (we had #4), with an incredibly comfortable memory foam mattress! We highly recommend Ndlovu Lodge!

Stunning location with well-equipped and comfortable accommodation, which is wonderfully private. Sophia is a remarkable host, and her attention to detail and personal touches made this a superb stay despite the hot weather. Her meticulously prepared and served breakfast was very tasty. Staff were all friendly and competent. Bird life on the river is fabulous.

I can't think of anything i didn't like.

Everything was wonderful. It felt very private, had a gorgeous little wooden patio right by the river for hanging out and watching the birds. The room was very comfy, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. There is also solar power that kicked in during load- shedding, and the wifi was great. Sophia was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed paddling on the river on our last day.
