For an establishment as great as this single ply toilet paper is out of order. The gas shower run inconsistent ( we know how a gas shower works). At the same setting it runs from extremely hot to cold where after the process has to restart. That is all thank you.

The place was great, well equipped and the setting is great. Privacy also great peacefully and quiet. We loved the game and the accommodation and the farm is well maintained. We had great fun in the jacuzzi.

The pillows were a bit hard, a few plusher or softer pillows would have been great. Our stay was all about relaxing and it would be preferable if the cleaners arrive at about 9am, allowing guests who prefer to sleep later or enjoy coffee in bed.

The tent was well equipped and clean. The outdoor tub was a great, especially in the evenings when you heat the water. We actually preferred the outdoor shower too. The air conditioning and ceiling fan made sleeping at night much more comfortable, except during loadshedding ofcause.

We had our son with us and not much for him to do but I do think the accommodation is better suited to adults. Bathroom floor is slippery.

Tent facilities were excellent and comfy. Having animals walk past to water hole and hearing lions roaring from the nearby game reserve was something special! Bring all food/drinks with you, as the closest shop is a distance away on the sand roads.

So it’s possibly a seasonal thing however there was a party that took place over two days at elements and there was loud music played from 9am in the morning till past 10 in the evening. It would be great if the noise policy was standard for both elements and newburg.

The location is perfect, myself and my wife have busy corporate jobs and this setting is exactly what we needed. Thank you,

Evening, this place is amazing. The buffalos come to drink water nearby. The sound of the wind on the tent was so beautiful.

It’s a beautiful lodge with all equipment you might need during your stay . Beds are very comfortable and outdoor shower is such a nice thing to have. Very helpful staff.

Problem with hot water, but it was resolved once battery was replaced. Lighting in rooms could be better to do makeup. A more private bathroom area would be preferrable for groups sharing. Dust road there is really awful, but I suppose it is not the lodge's responsibility. More suggestions than criticisms as the overall experience was lovely. Would visit again!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Lovely large entertainment area suitable for large groups. Directions and pre-arrival information provided promptly and accurately. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside areas with views of game close by.

The floors in the tent are slippery and that the tents don't have a boma. The beds are also a bit hard.

Location not too far from Joburg but yet it feels you're far from everything, tranquility, wildlife at the doorstep, service by the staff. Overall luxury bush tent experience was impressive.

Please would you provide something for short people like us to stand on when using the basins, etc - all the counters are for taller people than us.

The roads can be a challenge for a small car, especially if it has been raining. The listing mixes images of the tents and chalets. So not all of our expectations were met, as not all things seen in the images are available to you, like a bath.

Tents were clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was relaxing and well situated with a good view of the bush. We were fortunate enough to be the only ones at the camp, so it was super quiet.

Nicky's hospitality was amazing l It was everything I hoped it would be. Our tent was clean. Bedding was clean. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing and I do highly recommend Newburg lodge. Loved the animals. You can do self drives. I will be back again with my family.

In the bush with a view on the waterhole where you can see buffalo, sable, kudu, impala and more, only five tents so very private. Very clean and comfortable. Everything you need plus more.
