There was nothing to fault.

It is an awesome camp within Kruger, unfenced so open to all the wildlife around. The tents are beautiful with a large deck & gas braai for outdoor cooking. The staff went above & beyond to give us a fantastic experience. We really would have liked to have the elephants walk past ;) but had to make do with Buffalo, Leopard, Baboons & bush buck, & roaring lions at night - such a cool experience.

Its location within Kruger & unfenced so that you are literally in the wild - that was amazing. The staff were awesome & went above & beyond to give us a fantastic experience We like to self cater so the fact that we could do our own braaiing & cooking was great & on a beautiful deck overlooking the river & the bush

If other guests are noisy you hear it clearly due to no other noise pollution in the area. However, security attend to this immediately.

What an awesome experience, overlooking the Sabi River, surrounded by noises of the wildlife in the evening. Accommodation is 5 star, and staff friendly. Best part is the early morning & late afternoon park drives, making the most of it due to perfect location.

Everything! The environment and the view was incredible. The tents were very comfortable and well equipped. The Nkhulu team was very welcoming and helped us to make the most of our few days in the Kruger. We could have easily stayed much longer.

Fantastic stay. The accommodation was huge, modern and extremely comfortable (perhaps the most comfortable bed of our trip)! There were elephants in the camp upon our arrival and the staff made sure we knew of any other visitors we had during our stay! Cooking on the brai after our safari was a really magical touch. For what it's worth, the WiFi worked absolutely fine during our stay, in our tent. Lastly, every member of staff we met was wonderful and very kind. We only wish we had stayed for longer!

Our 3-night stay at Nkuhlu Tented Camp in Kruger National Park was unforgettable. The camp's rustic charm and comfortable tents provided a perfect base for exploring the park's wildlife. Guided game drives led by knowledgeable rangers offered unforgettable encounters with Africa's iconic animals. The camp's location by the river provided breathtaking views, adding to the overall experience. The staff at Nkuhlu were not just friendly and accommodating, but their dedication ensured a special and safe stay, making it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend for an authentic safari adventure in Kruger.

That we only spent one night.

Everything was just great. The staff was wonderful, very friendly, and always there to help. We had a long and interesting chat with Game Ranger Aubrey (I hope it's spelt correctly), who cares a lot about the animals and the environment. The tents are very luxurious and very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, an outside braai area, and a big, comfortable bed with a mosquito net to keep the bush bugs away. The tents are unfenced, so it is a real adventure wondering what comes close to your tent at night. Hearing the bush sounds at night is just priceless. With Sabie River right at your doorstep, you are almost guaranteed to see or hear elephants, hippos, or crocodiles. (Of course there's never a guarantee - it's not a zoo - but we were lucky enough to see them all in just a few hours)

Fabulous place. Beautiful tents placed on the shore of Sabie. The field is not fenced and therefore the animals circulate freely. We had elephants, hyenas and hypoopotami under the tent. In addition to birds and velvet monkey. . The tents are equipped with every comfort and the staff is very kind and very nice. We will certainly return .as soon as we can !

Amazing place, the tents were very luxurious and spacious, more like a modern apartment. Also very clean. Staff was great and accommodating, we got walkietalkied in the morning to tell us we could see a leopard walking through the campsite which was amazing! The ranger who was there at night told us stories and a lot of information about the park/camp. He also made us feel very confident in the safety of the camp and accomodations. Would and will recommend this to everybody!

The unfenced camp makes for an umatched bush experience, with hyenas, hippo and bush buck making appearances throughout the evenings. The view over the Sabi River from the room is absolutely incredible! The room is fully furnished with everything you need for a self-catering stay. Beautifully decorated and practically well thought through down to the finest detail - including a rechargeable light, free-standing battery, radio for communication with the team, aircon, fan and ammenities. The kitchen is equipped with a two plated gas stove, kettle for on the gas stove, fridge/freezer, an array of utensils, a microwave and ammenities (coffee, tea and milk). Also, outside on the patio, there is a gas webber. The staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. Late in the afternoons the housekeeping ladies would not only do the usual turndowns, but also set a table in the room for dinner. On the bed you would receive a chocolate, plus a bed time story and souvenir relevant to the tale. The location of the camp/lodge is very convenient as it is situated at the Nkuhlu picnic site. Which has its own shop and takeaway (closes at 15:40). All in all expectations were exceeded. A stay at Nkuhlu Tented Camp is a MUST when visiting the Kruger.

Absolutely nothing out stay was just the best.

Nkulu was absolutely perfect. It was clean and the staff were so helpful nothing to too much. I would definitely recommend Nkulu Tented Camp if you are looking for some beauty in the middle of the bush.

Pitty you can't have an open flame braai, but understandable why not.

Stunning location, amazing staff, well appointed accommodation. We only stayed one night which was not enough, to truly enjoy this camp and the area, I would say you need to spend at least three nights.

Some of the units had no tree shade and we went during the hottest month of the year. The Manager however moved us to a better unit on day 2 which was so much appreciated. Although it was a bush unit the view was better than the river units.

Nkuhlu was amazing. The view is exceptional and the property is unfenced, so animals move right past the tents. The tent was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The shower was AMAZING! All staff were very friendly and helpful I would definitely stay there again.
