Accessibility was an issue for me. The roads to our cabin were more suitable for a 4x4 vehicle. But it was an adventure. 😂

The 8km gravel road drive to the chalets were a bit uncomfortable. The beds were also not that comfortable.

I did not like the issue of not having a back up for Electricity yet we all know the problem of Loadshedding. When you're in Hospitality and Tourism Industry you're expected to be always on the game so as to attract more customers. We left without having a proper shower due to no backup plan. Nothing was working at night, microwave was not working ONLY the TV and lights went off due to bad weather and there were no hand lights which were working. When a fellow worker came to check on why we were having no pressure from the shower, he tried asking for a Generator, he brought back a response that, it was used to the other group that was there....i was so dissapointed at that response, we had to leave without bathing properly

This beautiful farmhouse chalet is a true gem, set in the most beautiful of surroundings. If one wants to truly escape the city and reconnect with nature then this is the place to do it. The owner, Oom Piet, is a charming and attentive host with a crazy sense of humour. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, even giving us extra wood for free when we ran out. This chalet was ridiculously cheap and we couldn't believe that we could enjoy such comfort for so little money. This place also does all sorts of adventure activities such as zip lining, hiking, fishing, 4 x 4 trails etc. We highly recommend this place. We also travelled with our dog and she was safe and happy in her environment. Thank you Oom Piet for your wonderful hospitality!

Not Clean, dirty used towels in the bathroom. Very old beds, condition of the bedding very poor. No backups during load shedding place is dark.

Place do need a bit of maintanace but the stay was good.

They need to clean the whole house the kitchen was filthy even cockroaches in the cupboards and the fridge, get new bedding and towels, clean bathrooms and showers.clean the balcony and fix the bedroom ceiling and clean rats poop.

The place it’s located in a quiet area wish is away from everything, which we like but I won’t advise anyone to visit that place all because of its dirtiness unless if they start taking care of the place and clean it.

This was a great escape into nature, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you love nature this is is the place for you. Lots of outdoor activities like zipline, absailing, paintball and many more. Host was very friendly,

The obstacle course and the swinging bridge were poorly maintained. My expectations were not met and I don't think I got value for money. There was a bat in the chalet but I guess that can be attributed to Lockdown which has affected a lot of such establishments due to travel restrictions.

I liked the fact that there is an obstacle course and it is located close to the river and camping site. The place presents a certain level of tranquility, it is good for a mini adventure for all age groups
