Basic accommodation The couch wasn't comfortable. Tiny bathroom. Floor of shower felt rough. Otherwise, it was good.

Comfortable bed.. Sylvia was friendly and welcoming. Easy access in and out of property. In a great area. Near many restaurants and shops. Not far from the beach.

The only shortcomings I can think of come at no fault of our hosts. If you book a stay here, it is important that you make sure Shirley has received your correct phone number otherwise you will experience trouble opening the gate. Booking.com automatically passed my German phone number on while I was using a South African SIM during my stay. On the day of our check out, then, the taps went dry for the entire neighbourhood. Shirley immediately messaged us to apologise. I am sure if we had stayed longer, she would have come up with a practical solution and help.

The suite had everything we wanted: A comfy bed; a little desk; nice armchairs; a tea kitchen; a fridge stocked with milk, butter, and very tasty marmalade; a functional bathroom. Moreover, everything looked very pretty and well taken care of. We felt very warmly welcomed while at the same time we were given enough privacy. Parking was excellent, and we were so grateful for Sylvia's help with the gate. The area seemed very safe.

I think the place needs some work, especially regarding space wise (it is so small) and also I wasn’t impressed with the shower.

Friendly host and staff - we were welcomed by the friendly Sylvia🙏🏾 Thanks for all your help! Spacious unit and very clean/fresh. Peaceful night. Its a self-catering unit with a microwave, fridge and has an air fryer. [We only stayed for an evening and didnt need to use all but all these are available]. Parking available inside property. And its on the prime side of Durban North. The place is exactly like the pics advertised. Its a place I can definitely go back to if needed. 👌🏾

Great location. Central to all major attractions and just around the corner from my office. Suited my need to accommodate my colleague perfectly. Sorry, we may have woken you leaving early as we had a very early start for our work commitments. but will definitely use you again.

I should not say this but I want to re -hang the curtains in the bedroom that I slept in...I am just very fussy about curtains hanging up nicely with no missing hooks....but that is minor compared to all the good things....

The staff Sylvia was excellent and very attentive to our needs. The unit was immaculate and perfect for the one day that we stayed.. I will definitely rebook here whenever I am in Durban.

No specific laptop table/facility. I recommend that a coffee table that can double up as a laptop table be provided.

Old, needs upgrade. Security gate not easy to close, old aircon, hardly worked. Struggled to get someone to let us in. It looked much nicer on the site
