Koos and Lorraine are fantastic hosts with attention to detail given to each communal area (eg Christmas decorations everywhere). Breakfast was fantastic - Lorraine really paid attention to our requests; the options available are wonderful. The lodge is centrally located and nearby Nottingham Road

Perhaps a fridge, cutlery, etc. in the bedrooms and perhaps an awning over the porch to protect from rain. However, everything was lovely and very comfortable and nothing we did not like.

Koos and Lorraine went beyond the call of duty to assist with any queries and I found them both very knowledgeable on all matters relating to the area. Lovely couple.

Lorraine and Koos are such great hosts. Great communication and response time throughout (from booking to arrival). We were welcomed at the gate, accompanied to our rooms and informed of the in's and out's. The kids even got hot chocolate upon arrival! There was no hesitation from our side about being in good hands - rooms are comfortable, most items one would need are available in the rooms, nestled-in well, great scenery, jazzy Christmas music in the lounge/dining area, games galore for the kids to play with, and of course - the handsome breakfast. An additional extra that we really appreciated was the fridge, microwave and utensils being made available for guests. This came in handy! We left knowing we would be coming back! I would recommend it for anyone planning to visit the area for leisure/business/other.

I can't think of a thing.

We were only going to sleep over for one night, but once there, we decided to stay an extra night. The cozy and beautifully furnished cottage had everything we needed. The king size bed was luxurious and so comfy. We had a huge thunderstorm and the wifi signal was so strong that we could even watch TV. The huge, but surprisingly quiet generator, meant that loadshedding did not present any problems for the guests at all. Lorraine anx Koos, the hosts, were wonderful and most accommodating.

What makes a place pleasant to stay at ? The Owners/Staff. Well, you cannot ask for more as Koos and Lorraine will go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Definitely recommend to anyone.

If there was a small wash up area for mugs and plates and a better place to make coffee and tea.

Breakfast was great. Room Clean and Bed very comfy. Very peaceful and quiet. Gardens are beautiful. Debbie very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Well worth the stay.

Better than the photos Beautiful setting. Rooms very comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. A big fire was made in the sitting room which was very cosy. And we were able to make coffee with fresh milk from the kitchen. Breakfast was served in the lovely sunny dining room by the hosts, Lorraine and Koos.breakk Highly recommended!
