My friend and I traveled to Durban, South Africa. This quaint little place is right outside of town. We were welcomed with nothing but open arms by the host even though we showed up early. It has an exquiste view of the Indian Ocean. The room was amazing, with a private balcony. The staff were amazing, nice, and nothing but respectful. The breakfast was included every morning and it was a beautiful breakfast spread including fresh fruit, fresh juice, and you could order eggs, omelet, etc. I even left some items behind and reached out the owner and she went out of her to ship them back to me. It was truly a pleasure and blessing to stay here for the four days we did.

Everything was so pristine and every small details were taken care of. I’m a solo female traveler first time in SA, and Ocean Vista made me feel very safe here. The owner Snezana was super friendly and gave me confidence with my travel. The view was stunning and the lounge was super comfy. Breakfast was so good that I just skipped lunches. The whole vibe was luxurious and romantic, I will definitely be back for my honeymoon. Highly recommend!

beautiful and very relaxing location. the host was very warm, welcoming and caring. Hearty breakfast every morning accompanied by seasonal fruits. Magnificent view of the sea from the terrace or bedroom balconies. I highly recommend this guest house if you want to spend quality time in peace and quiet in Durban. See you again very soon

Everything was beautiful.

From the minute i entered the guesthouse, i felt at home. I got a beautiful warm welcome and got upgraded to room 1. What an absolutely beautiful room. From the space to the cleanliness to the bathroom space. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. I can't wait to go back again soon. The views were breathtaking, even got an opportunity to have conversation with monkeys in the morning on the balcony.

The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The location was convenient, with easy access to the shops. The host was friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere, the complimentary breakfast, and the friendly staff I felt welcomed and at home throughout my stay. Snezana and her team are amazing and received us with the warmest welcome . The guest house is ideally located , with every comfort and all your needs catered for . Breakfast is a must and drinks on the amazing patio. The views of the ocean are stunning and has a very relaxing atmosphere.

This stay was wonderful and dreamy. Amazing view (hence the name), perfectly clean, perfect location and impeccable overall look of the property, kind and attentive staff and amazing breakfast selection! We couldn’t have wished for anything better. Snezena was very accommodating and kind, and she gave us recommendations on the area and she is a lovely woman wish such an interesting story to tell. Couldn’t recommend this stay more.

Wonderful view from the rooftop terrace, comfortable bed, great breakfast and lovely neighborhood! We really enjoyed the service from the staff and the chats with Snezana. We had a late afternoon flight, and we were able to leave our luggage at the accommodation and go out to explore. We really appreciated that. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

The only issue is that it is a bit of a hike to get to food - but that also means that it is in a quiet, clean, and safe neighborhood - so worth it!

Best breakfast, exceptionally friendly staff and loved the fact that the owner was present at all times, and greeted us upon returning back at night. Location was perfect for all our needs. I loved the privacy and layout of the guesthouse.

The view from the upper deck is amazing. Breakfast is served up there and there is also a lounge area with an honesty bar on this huge deck. Very comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. The owner went out of her way to check us in late. We will be back!
