From the minute i entered the guesthouse, i felt at home. I got a beautiful warm welcome and got upgraded to room 1. What an absolutely beautiful room. From the space to the cleanliness to the bathroom space. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. I can't wait to go back again soon. The views were breathtaking, even got an opportunity to have conversation with monkeys in the morning on the balcony.

The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The location was convenient, with easy access to the shops. The host was friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere, the complimentary breakfast, and the friendly staff I felt welcomed and at home throughout my stay. Snezana and her team are amazing and received us with the warmest welcome . The guest house is ideally located , with every comfort and all your needs catered for . Breakfast is a must and drinks on the amazing patio. The views of the ocean are stunning and has a very relaxing atmosphere.

This stay was wonderful and dreamy. Amazing view (hence the name), perfectly clean, perfect location and impeccable overall look of the property, kind and attentive staff and amazing breakfast selection! We couldn’t have wished for anything better. Snezena was very accommodating and kind, and she gave us recommendations on the area and she is a lovely woman wish such an interesting story to tell. Couldn’t recommend this stay more.

Wonderful view from the rooftop terrace, comfortable bed, great breakfast and lovely neighborhood! We really enjoyed the service from the staff and the chats with Snezana. We had a late afternoon flight, and we were able to leave our luggage at the accommodation and go out to explore. We really appreciated that. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

The only issue is that it is a bit of a hike to get to food - but that also means that it is in a quiet, clean, and safe neighborhood - so worth it!

Best breakfast, exceptionally friendly staff and loved the fact that the owner was present at all times, and greeted us upon returning back at night. Location was perfect for all our needs. I loved the privacy and layout of the guesthouse.

The view from the upper deck is amazing. Breakfast is served up there and there is also a lounge area with an honesty bar on this huge deck. Very comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. The owner went out of her way to check us in late. We will be back!

Snezana is a very friendly and helpful hostess. Everything at Ocean Vista is extremely clean and my room had a nice view on the ocean. There is a very nice terras with honesty bar and view on the ocean. Breakfast was excellent.

You will need a car to get to places - not a negative as such but worth mentioning . Nearest restaurant a few kilometres away - a nice walk but not ideal at night when these no street lights working due to the SA wide power cuts.

This is a wonderful place in a wonderful and safe upmarket location north of Durban (which sadly isn't the best pace these days) Great staff and fabulous breakfast . Gorgeous views and the place was spotless . Be aware that South Africa has load shedding on electricity, but Ocean Vista has an alternative electricity source. Due to a recent storm there were occasional water issues everywhere in the area and sometimes the shower/tap didn't work . This is a problem for everyone in the area and they did brilliantly with supplying us with extra water if needed . It really wasn't an issue.

Stunning views, comfortable bed, lovely decorations, great bathroom with huge bathtub and a walk-in shower with plenty of amenities. An amazing breakfast with fresh fruits, yoghurts, Danishes, bread and fresh eggs anyway you want cooked. Above all, excellent staff, very friendly. Beautiful property, well-maintained.

The owner’s hospitality was out of this world. Beautiful, modern and clean facilities. The personal touch with the welcome board with our names was really heart-warming. Staff is kind and really know how to take care of their guests.
