Overall the stay was excellent and I would go back. However do be minded that the piping system in the hotel is quite nosy and can disturb sleep. The pictures of the room on booking.com also wasn't an accurate reflection of what we got, it was a lot smaller. But still comfortable and clean.

Room was extremely clean. Loved the addition of the robes and Nespresso coffee. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

There are no ramps for pulling luggage and it was difficult lifting luggage up stairs. You could not take the elevator from reception to the rooms. There were kitchen facilities, but nothing to help cook - no pots/pans/drying cloth. No hanging rack for clothes washing. The room was too dark - an overhead chandelier light would be good. There should be more shelving in the bathroom and light on the face when putting on makeup.

Breakfast was excellent. There was a washing machine. The television was an excellent size, large. The bed was comfortable. The room was a good size, and the bath in the bedroom was a novel idea (shower was good). We were able to store our luggage before check-in. The location was very good - central for both CT Long Street and the Waterfront - within walking distance.

Very noisy in general….I’ve stayed there before and there always seems to be construction work or maintenance work going on. Either in the hotel or in the apartments across. The apartments across hoots for their security to open their gates. The bed in this room was a nightmare. The nespresso machine didn’t work and had to be replaced.

Interior design and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was cramped with a strange layout. The bathroom wall was glass, which means when you are laying in bed you can watch your partner on the toilet!

Location is great and the breakfast was phenomenal. The property itself is very cool and trendy. Staff were very helpful.

The water pump noise is really annoying. When your neighbour flushes the loo or showers then it sounds aweful in the room with the adjacent noise of the pump system.

Enjoyed the look and feel of hotel. Staff were helpful. Some more than others. The decor of hotel is very nice. Rooms well apportioned even for the small room I had booked. Breakfast was good and worked well with the a la carte menu. Coffee was great. Location was great for me. On doorstep of De Waterkant shops and close to V&A.

There was a slight sewage smell when we entered in our room, this was intermittent during our stay. ( not overpowering but we could notice it) There was no power point in the bathroom. (We do understand that this is a repurposed old building and the bathroom power point issue may be due to wiring difficulties). There was also no bench space in the bathroom. Even though there was a cook top and oven there were not pots & pans (not a problem for us but would be for those who wished to cook.) There was no chopping board or sharp knives. We also thought it was strange that a large winged chair was placed in the middle at the end of the bed which obscured the view of watching TV while lying on the bed. A better option for furniture placement should be considered. (including the full length mirror) More thought should be given to the logistics and layout of the space.

The location was good. Easy walking distance to great restaurants and the water front. The room looked great, The bed was comfortable.

The plumbing depends on pumps and the use of water in other rooms can be heard. It is a shame the front gate has to be closed in the evening as getting around through the back car park is cumbersome and not understood by all Uber drivers

A quirky hotel with interesting decor in the public areas and in the bedrooms. The bed is comfortable and the hotel is on a quiet road set back fro the Waterfront.

Unfortunately, there were lots of cockroaches in the bathroom and no matter what you did more seemed to arrive. The hotel was extremely clean in general (we want to say that we enjoyed our stay overall), but something definitely needs to be done to ensure the roach problem is sorted.

The staff were welcoming and willing to help at any time of day. The room was spacious and had all the gadgets you need. The bed was soooo comfortable and we slept like babies. Breakfast was varied and there was an excellent vibe around the hotel in the mornings.

We struggles a bit finding the entry of the hotel, as there are no signs on the building. If you return in the evening, you have to walk through a parking complex and again, no signs, so we got a bit lost.

We had a good time at the Old Foundry Hotel. The room was nice and the hotel is in walking distance to the waterfront. The breakfast selection was good and tasty!

The bath towels were far too small. I would suggest looking in getting larger towels for people who visit the hotel.
