My partner and I stayed one night after visiting the Sudwala Caves, and it was the best night of our trip around Mpumalanga. We had a 4-course dinner and all the food was incredible, what an amazing experience. Such a beautiful place inside and out. Gaining access to the property was difficult as there was loadshedding so phone signal was limited to Vodacom and phones went unanswered. We had to call the farmer next door to open the gate for us after hooting for some time then driving to find signal and returning again. Leaving the property was as difficult. We were also not prepared for the amount of steps to access our unit.

The food was excellent and it was prepared with great care. It is all vegan or vegetarian, but it is so delicate. Paul, the owner, is a very pleasant guy, helpful and full of good suggestions. We loved the stay.

Access at night a little intimidating. Entrance gate locked and not illuminated at all at night. As a result one needs to be extremely cautious when slowing down to avoid missing the turn into the drive way. Fast moving vehicles on the national high way is a concern.

The opportunity to experience and taste plant based food. Quiet amazing and educational. Paul was outstanding as a host.

Exceptional food. The four course dinner was delectable. Who knew vegan food could taste that good! The attention to detail was amazing. Delicious breakfast as well - interesting combinations and a personal touch. Marian and Paul are wonderful kind-hearted people. This is the perfect stop over on the way to Kruger Park for breaking the Journey. We love the amazing Vegan food. No need to worry, you won't miss the meat! Marian is an excellent chef. Both Marian and Paul manage to balance the professional with casual and they are relaxed but attentive. The stay makes you feel like you are a long lost special person who just came home.
