The house/hideout we stayed in was terrible. Nothing like the photos. Only a single bed blanket on the double bed and it was freezing! The kitchen looks like it came out of the 70’s. Electricity kept tripping-microwave has no plate.

View and farm is beautiful and breathtaking.

In the dry season, keep an eye out so ensure you stay on the correct road if you have a standard vehicle. We missed it and ended up on the 4x4 track with lots of rocks for grip in the wet season. When we did find the correct path, it was much better, but I would really recommend that you make use of their shuttle service in the wet season or if you have a lower or standard car.

The views wereincredible, the hikeshad the mostbeautifulsights, the nature was just unmatched, the staff were super helpful and went out of their way to help us, the animals are so cute and friendly. The clean fresh air was so nice to breathe as well the amazing fresh spring water on the farm.

We booked a chalet and afterwards received late a confirmation of having booked a cabin with no facilities. In the same email we only saw the day after when it was too late, it said we needed a 4x4 to reach the place. With our city car, we couldn't reach the place without damaging the car. It was a terrifying route in the dark. Wish we had this info from the start. Then we wouldn't have booked it. We even had to pay extra to get a "upgrade " from cabin to chalet while we had booked a chalet. This was how it was indicated in booking.com but according to the host, that's a mistake from booking. We didn't really believe that but we were so exhausted from the dangerous drive up there, we just agreed so we could go to sleep. It's a real shame because we never had any problems or inclarities with booking. Com so far.

The road to the lodge needs more maintenance, we struggled with our vehicle. The chimney in our chalet had holes in it, so there was a lot of smoke when we had to light the fire for warmth

They charge lot of extras when you get to the facility. Extra for wifi, extra for firewood, extra for walking to the river and the adverts on the side gives a false impression that all amenities are available and yet when you get there there's no toilets, showers and blankets. We then have to upgrade on the spot.

The cabin we were assigned to was not cleaned when the previous guests left. We slept in a different one, was very cold, with just a bed sheet and juvet, no proper blankets, no heater. the morning just wouldn't come fast enough for us to leave

The location is perfect, a very beautiful valley on the border of Lesotho, with great views of mountains. The Cabin we stayed in is at a high point of the Lodge, which allows for great views of the surroundings

A heater would have been nice, an electric blanket perhaps. Bitterly cold and the fireplace in the bungalow was not sufficient to warm the place properly

Road to the location was a little difficult for a small hire car. Having said that, it increased the sense of adventure.

Gorgeous location in the hills. Great walks. Clear night skies for seeing the stars. Wood and bbq facilities. Indoor wood burner. Loads of nature to see as well as domestic donkeys and horses. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It is a beautiful place, on the way there you drive through a mountain pass. It is breath taken. The views from our cabin was amazing. The cabin was perfect. The bed comfortable and clean. The stoep was so relaxing, with a pictures view all around.

-Poor / false advertising. Activities listed on their website are false as there were none available except hiking. For every activity / facility there is a excuse of why it's unavailable. -Reception poor. No information given upon arrival. Not informed about loadshedding, so I'm paying to sit in the dark every night. (Not informed on day of booking). Had to enquire for everything the following day and to come to the conclusion that everything that was advertised is not working or is not there anymore. FALSE ADVERTISING. Definitely not worth what I paid for. Not close to what they advertised. Definitely won't be visiting there again. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
