No access to the garden but that is because of the way the building is laid out. It definitely didn't affect our stay as the beach, restaurants and the local pub are a short walk from the apartment.

Stunning views across the bay to Clovelly, Kalk Bay, Muizenberg.and on a clear day Seal Island and the Hottentots Holland mountain range. Huge and very comfortable bed Private deck area with loungers Small balcony with seating and table for seal watching. Weekly bed linen and towel change Adequate self catering facilities if needed, but we chose to eat out most evenings and used the cooking facilities for breakfasts on the balcony or snacks. Free Wi-Fi which was very good and worked during load shedding. Parking in a private garage which at first can be daunting but we soon got used to it. Did I mention the views? Great communication from very friendly and helpful owners.. A few staples such as teabags, coffee, sugar and fresh milk were available when we arrived. Cafetiere is available for the fresh brew coffee lovers. Great location, short walk to Fish Hoek along Jagers walk and central to most areas in the Southern Peninsula if driving. Did I mention the views?

Getting your car in and out of the garage requires an additional person to the driver to stop the oncoming traffic.

The apartment was in a lovely wind free location, was well equipped, very private and was absolutely what we were looking for. We particularly loved the balcony overlooking the bay! During loadshedding there were adequate provisions to make your stay more comfortable.

The bed was a little too soft for my liking, but that's personal preference, the TV was very small and outdated.

The location was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the bay. The unit was comfortable with lots of personal touches to make us feel at home.

The views are amazing and the sound of the waves calming. Beautiful one bed apartment with all the basics you need. Save off street parking and a private deck area to use. Walking distance to Fishhoek shops and restaurants. Lorraine is a great host and very helpful.

There was nothing we didn't like. Getting into and out of the garage from the main road seems a little daunting at first, but isn't really problematic.

The layout was comfortable and spacious. It was private but still had wonderful views over the bay from both the balcony and the private deck. The internet connection was good. Everything you could need was there.

I came in late both nights and left early in die mornings for work so did not have time to really enjoy the peace and charm this apartment had to offer.

The location is very scenic and tranquil. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need, including a lot of reading material and maps for tourists. Lorraine was an amazing host and went above the call of duty to make me feel at home. It’s a perfect base for those who want to explore the Cape and all it’s splendour.

I visited this place in August. It was important for me to have a view of the ocean, and at the same time there was good transport accessibility. Very cozy apartment with attention to detail, comfortable and thoughtful. Lovely terrace with sun loungers if you like to sunbathe. Everything is there, including adapters from English sockets to ordinary ones for electrical appliances (do not buy at the airport). The view from the window is simply excellent, right from the balcony you can watch the wonderful South African sunrises over the ocean. A wonderful promenade for jogging and walking right next to the house. There is a covered garage for the car with lifting gates. With a car, Cape Town city center can be reached in about 35 minutes, and there is a spectacular route via Chapman Peak Drive (paid). The beach is 5 minutes walk along the promenade. Wave beach for surfing - 5 minutes by car. Shark boat excursions are also 5 minutes away by car. Boulders Beach, where penguins live - 10 minutes by car. Mountain trekking routes - starting with walking distance. Fish Hook is a small, safe and quiet town. I would like to express special gratitude to the owner of the house, Lorraine, for her excellent manners and tact. All in all, I had a great time here, I advise everyone.
