Stairs would be my only concern for those that are less mobile. Sometimes the wifi was inaccessible in my room and in the bar

Lovely room, nice feel to the place. Nice bar area too. Though a lively place I was not disturbed in my room at all. Area around the place feels safe too. Staff very pleasant. Had two stays here and was on the first and third floors. Couldn't see a lift - so something to keep in mind if you cant do stairs. Both my rooms had an amazing view of Table Mountain!

Due to the two bars connected to the hostel there was just a lot of constant noise.

The staff were all so helpful and friendly! Special thanks to the volunteers Sophia, Kayla and Jasmine for being the best tour/activity guides. This hostel has a ton of daily tours and activities so there's always something to do! Location was good too - tons to do within walking distance.

I only spent one night, but I was really happy about the nice "hangout" areas during the day - as well as the tables and benches outside in the back "yard". The staff was very nice and I felt well handled at all times. It was also very nice to have a lively bar right on the base floor at night.

A suggestion to add a lounge chair to the room for comfy seating when in room. The fan works well in the room, but the room does get quite warm, and then, when opening the window, the almost invisible mozzies get you. Consider aircon or a solution for the mosquitoes. As an additional safety feature, only guests should be allowed to open the door to gain access to the rooms from the stairwell.

The staff were warm, helpful and friendly. The setup of the facilities encourages interaction among guests. The location is central and great for restaurants, pubs, etc.

The only thing I would think to be an issue is for someone who might not like a lot of noise at night but the bar does close down at 12 so there is times in the night where there is complete silence.

I’ve frequented Cape Town before and this hostel is attached to one of my favourite bars and that was a highlight for me. The people are very friendly I was able to make friends very easily. Overall it was a good stay.

It gets a bit loud in the room because of the music I had to move 4 times because guests were supposed to come in my room every time I moved to another room but they never came. I checked with my friends who were staying in those rooms...

Everything is perfect except for the noise (my dorm was right above the bar). However, it becomes quieter around midnight or so. Besides, you can always use earplugs :)
