Our weekend stay at On The Rocks in Betty's Bay was truly extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, exquisite decor, and charming atmosphere of this place. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The breakfast provided was nothing short of regal, offering a sumptuous feast fit for kings. Our room was a luxurious haven, featuring a comfortable bed, high-quality linen, and stunning views from every corner, including the bath and the shower. The highlight was undoubtedly the deck, which boasted a small pool and a jacuzzi that seemed to merge seamlessly with the ocean. To top off our incredible stay, we had the privilege of enjoying a 5-course dinner at their second long table, prepared by the talented chef Marc Blumberg. Paired beautifully with Eensaamheid wines, a special touch was added by winemaker Janno Briers, who presented each wine selection with utmost expertise. Overall, our experience at On The Rocks exceeded all expectations. It combined luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and a culinary adventure that left us truly enchanted. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an unforgettable getaway.

The room doors let in a lot of noice from the hallway. You can hear every step the other guests do.

I couldn't stay for longer.

Location right on the sea was wonderful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, bathrooms lovely. Everything provided, one could turn up with minimal luggage. Breakfast was excellent. Pool and jacuzzi excellent.

Amazing house with stunning view, superb breakfast and outstanding host! Robin gave us a lot of recommendations for food and activities - she even managed to reserve us tables in restaurants which were fully booked. All in all an excellent experience.

All good- great stay! Quality come at a price, however it was worth it!

Everything! We had the King room, absolute magnificent views! Great breakfast. We enjoyed the deck with sun-beds, jacuzzi and splash pool. Ended up spending resting time here and literally just travelled to restaurants for dinner. Some complementary snacks and drinks also offered on the one day - I however do not think it is the norm. Being traveling for a while, we had some washing done - at a reasonable fee

My only issue (and it's a small one) is that on booking.com I was notified check-in was between 3.00 & 4.00 pm. This is a small window for an isolated location. My advice is to phone and request a late check-in and be sure to add on an extra 2 hours travelling time for police road-blocks and road-works! I was very stressed about being late. Laurence handled it well.

What a superb place to stay in the most stunning location right on the water's edge. It's a custom built B&B and could not be more perfect. Both the owner and manager were very welcoming. The room and view were super. Breakfast was delicious. Our only regret was getting in too late to enjoy the pool and hot-tub. We would definitely stay here again for longer.

A wonderful position with excellent sea views and from our balcony there were great views of the evening sunsets. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating they were also helpful in making bookings for restaurants at night.

Excellent location with stunning sea views, in close proximity to where the waves hit the rocks as the name indicates. Very friendly and accommodating hostess and staff. Lekka breakfast. Neatness and contemporary design - attention to detail.

Other than being an amazing property in a great location, the owner and staff really take care of you. Unfortunately we were there when there was a big storm in the area but the owner and staff took amazing care of us and we were still able to relax and have a great break. Definitely going beck for better weather!

Absolutely loved our breakfasts and the stunning location of On The Rocks. We felt warm and welcomed and really taken care of during our stay. The ocean view you get when having a bath as well as the gorgeous lounge area with big open windows were our highlights! We would definitely be visiting again. Keep in mind that the jacuzzi is closed during winter months and load sheds (totally understandable, just to mention). Also, it has been a bit cold inside. The wind gets through the windows and doors more than it probably should for such a house but that apparently is normal in ZA from our experience 😅

Great place to rest with incredible sea view. Even had a whale passing by but that is not often. Very nice and modern rooms/facilities and super nice hosts. Also the beaches and places around are not the most famous ones but still very beautiful, same as the road back to CPT. Breakfast is perfect.
