We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

So quiet and serene. The Karoo has a stillness that you get nowhere else. The service ,dinner and breakfast was fantastic, the room super luxury, unfortunately not a bath.

Germanythe road getting there is in bad condition. the dinner was a bit disappointing. it could have been a nice atmosphere, the dining room is great, but somehow it felt more like a canteen, since it was so noisy and too many people just running around. staff could be trained better to make guests feel comfortable. it was very noisy from the kitchen and I had the impression staff wanted us to finish eating as quick as possible. also communication was difficult. when we arrived the staff did not really talk to us, also when we left. they were not aware that we had booked two rooms, not only one. the amount deducted by booking was not correct and the hotel didn’t know I had made a payment already. finally leaving we didn’t get a code to leave the property so we had to drive back. it’s a shame that all these issues spoiled the experience which could have been much better as the place itself is really nice.

Beautiful location with friendly and accommodating staff. Our luggage landed up being locked in the rear of our vehicle and due to a faulty lock we could not get to it. The owner and staff went to extra lengths to organise us tooth brushes etc.

South AfricaWould have preferred a queen/king bed. Remember - this is a hunting lodge, so be prepared for trophies and lots of photos.
In the middle of a game reserve - being greeted by a lady with wet towels to wash hands and face, was a very refreshing gesture. The check in process is excellent, with a fresh juice to quench thirsty travellers. Wonderful grounds to walk in around the hotel - and I ventured out a little to watch some buck close by. The staff are very friendly.

South AfricaThe plumbing is bad, the dinner over priced, staff although friendly have little finesse, drinking water had to be fetched, skipped breakfast because of price, receptionist unprofessional, kitchen staff also served up the food wearing their hygiene hair nets, do lights have to be on all night, very little information about the place in the file, not being warned about needing a 4x4 to get there specially if it had rained!
