The hotel could use a bit of maintenance, our AC didn't work properly, the boilers were fixed recently so the water was dark. I believe the hotel has new owners that are trying to catch up with the maintenance.

The rooms air conditioner was not working, however, the manager notified us in time and also reimbursed us for the inconvenience. There were not sufficient signs on the hiking trail. I would suggest adding signs as it becomes stressful with no direction to guide you. Especially where one enters the estate. The beach is not within walking distance.

The room was spacious and clean. The views are absolutely amazing. We received exceptional service from the shuttle driver, who also gave us guidance on the hiking trail. The hiking trail is a must, and the views are spectacular.

The room was large and clean but needed a bit of maintenance done to it. The dinner venues all had the same menu so not much choice. You had to drive to a nearby restaurant if you wanted a proper meal.

We stayed in room 152. The door catch was broken . Carpets at sliding door was broken. Only 1 chair on balcony for 2ppl. When I checked in staff at reception told me my booking is not paid. I then had to email them the payment confirmation. On checkout same thing it was very embarrassing as I had to prove to them.it was paid.

The Housekeeping slacked, you have to phone them and beg them to come clean your room otherwise it won't be cleaned daily. Bit of a letdown considering their junior suite rates.

Resort is a state of transition with repair work required to upgrade the resort. It appears that the resort got left behind during COVID with the facilities requiring a revamp or upgrade.

The swimming pool area was under construction, the smell of the carpet and the fact that there are no lifts to the rooms but the staff does assist with luggage.

The place is amazing. It’s worth the price, from the spacious rooms to the delicious breakfast. My view was good from the 3rd floor and the bed was comfortable.

The fact that we weren't informed that the pool was under maintenance and couldn't be used and that the resort is in need of some serious maintenance eg door handles that fell.off etc

Although the upgrade was lovely and not what we expected, the air-conditioning was not working. Some general maintenance and upkeep of the exterior of the building is in need.

How professional the operations manager, Tumelo, was in handling our situation. Our room had a door that would not lock from the outside and would only lock from the inside. We only found out on the night of our check-in, when we were going to go to the only restaurant at the hotel for dinner. After informing reception, the maintenance technician appeared at our room within minutes but unfortunately after almost an hour, he was unable to fix the problem. The only solution after asking to speak to the operations manager, Tumelo, was to move rooms. Tumelo was calm, understanding and apologetic. He listened to our grievances and in the end, we were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade we received - we moved into the penthouse suite.
